  • Sephirot can lick my balls and Cloud can suck my dick. Stupid Fanboys.

I care about Soul Calibur not about characters from other games.

  • 25:29 i died laughing, I said da same thing!

  • I love how they got professional voice actors to translate Mikami and Suda 51.

  • I completely agree man. A lot of immature gamers out there nowadays without proper gaming etiquette. They'll just thrash and destroy their stuff and consoles and rage and whine like babies when they don't have it their way. They rage quit and become crazy! No patience at all man.

  • I do not know what to think about:"Goodbye mother" said by Patroklos, but Sophitia is my favourite Soul Calibur character and most beautiful videogame girl for me.

Without her Soul Calibur will be worst for me.

Sophitia will always remain in my heart.

She is the first female character I ever used from the time of the first Soul Edge.

Patrklos or Phyrrha are far to be charismatic like her

  • @SquallLeon81 Umm, I think it means he killed his mom. Dude looks pretty evil to me.

  • @W0BN1AR

    Yeah I fear so too

  • @SquallLeon81 Fear?...I think it's quite interesting. I welcome more batshit insane evil characters. It'd be great if they could add Sephiroth or somebody as a guest character.

  • @W0BN1AR

I'm not so entusiastic of that because Sophitia is absolutely my favourite character and do not see her I think Soul Calibur will be no more like before.

For Sephiroth as bonus I'wll be glad

  • @SquallLeon81 Everybody always makes him in the create-a-character anyway. Why not just go the extra inch and get Square on the phone for the rights and all that jazz.

  • @W0BN1AR

Yeah that's true I have seen so much Sephiroth so far

  • THIS DUDE IS TO REAL!!!!! LOL

  • @shaho1994

You should be proud of yourself that you haven't fallen into that pit. Many gamers get caught up in it and become mole so to speak. At least you have a life outside of gaming, and that's a good thing.

  • Hey, what was that 200,000 grant for game makers?

  • @KalebParhamGames

There's a link in the info bar in detail for it, but the grant will be added to The Arts in Media – making grants that were once exclusive television, film and radio pursuits open to interactive technologies, as well as satellite and internet media. There's more in the article.

  • 21:03 not that serious bra. I've had games not work on me too. It'll make ya mad. That's when you either change the game, or look at a movie on demand.

  • @KalebParhamGames

I agree, not that serious. Turn the game off, change it or relax. No way am I breaking a computer over a game.

  • 5:05 and that's the truth. Everytime I walk in gamestop, all I see are shooting games. all people talk about is "black ops" and "modern warfare". C'mon man. expand your game library. hell, expand your life.

  • @KalebParhamGames

Gamers these days need to expand their genres, which is why single player games are flying under the radar. It actually hurts the gaming community, and if these guys are so called "Gamers" they would have more perspective.

  • Ha that's funny, they think that cracked up emo looking Dante version of himself will win, that I'd hilarious

  • @AnimeMaster2

E3 will be hilarious, because I'm really banking on the fans to boo NT at their presentation, when they first come out.

  • The only thing I missed while the PSN was down was ym Mass Effect and Dragon Age saves :( and once again I blame EA :P

  • @malaketh

That's right, place blame where it belongs. Between that and online passes, EA really hurt the gamers. Now they're mad at Sony for the network being down. This is what happens, when you try to force online access only.

  • @EventStatus That is just the tip of the ice burg. EA tend to move employees from different development companies under their control, in order to support their pet companies. This has proven be disastrous, all you need to do is look into what happened to Pandemic.

EA spread themselves so wide with funding that both games and developers suffer. I really dislike EA and what they do. I just hope they can see what they are doing before another company like Mythic or even Bioware falls.

  • @malaketh

I will be talking about this on friday, since EA came out with some comments about employees. And I agree, EA has done this before and destroyed companies, hopefully they won't make the same mistake.

  • Hopefully that cat trying to kill himself discovered he could get back online and all those people that traded and sold their ps3's recently must feel like shit with psn recent recovery if you can call it that I miss the original multiplayer exerience aka the good old arcade

  • @megamikex1

I agree, the arcade you didn't have to worry about this. And people trading in their PS3 I'm sure feel bad now, since PSN is back up.

  • @EventStatus

Those clips made me ashamed to play with people like that. Just the other day I was at my buddy's house and there was this guy just screaming and yelling the entire game over the mic (yes I know this is a regular thing) but it depressed me that people can't just get along. to the kid who wants to commit suicide because of the whole psn thing: read a book, man.

anyways keep up the awesome vids

  • @TheTenCentPistol

Thanks, and yeah. It's almost like getting along is looked down upon. Well at least that's what these companies will tell you. They want people to stay divided, so they can bank on it. (different exclusivity, and why you should buy their console, etc)

  • I do kind of feel bad for some of the people in those clips because the first thing i thought i of when my brother deleted my account on xbox live was "i just spent 50$ for a one year subscription to just have it deleted...." so when i saw the first clip i felt kinda bad for the guy cause it looked liked he could of potentially been playing for years. but then he raged and i didn't feel bad anymore XD going on a rampage a destroying your own equipment just isn't right.

  • @ovan016

The guy could have easily recovered his characters by contacting the staff via online or phone. But he freaked and destroyed his computer. So even if he gets his characters back, what will he play the game on? lol

  • Your the man nothing else to say. You speak the truth and think outside the box, seeing the larger picture.

  • @godzilla4130

Thanks, much appreciated. And that's what I'm trying to do here, show people the lager picture of things. because as gamers we have to evolve and stay ahead of the BS, that companies feed us.

  • @SonicCircuit

Thanks, and yeah I expect WiiHD to be shown at E3.

  • agree

  • Are you looking forward e3 2011? Cause e3 2010 sucked with sony and Microsoft showing their motion stuff.

  • @mgdan6

I am looking forward to it, because I think this is the year of games. Last year was the year of motion crap. We'll possibly see a new system or so unveiled (Wii 2) but I expect a lot of games to be shown.

  • Wow is my response to all of this.... 32:28 of this vid made me go "wow b" Event holds it down all day and tomorrow.

  • @thisisfizzy

Thanks, much appreciated. I'm already looking into info for Fridays video.

  • im looking forward to compare the ninja Theory DMC and The Suda51/mikami Shadow of the damned ... I know, it might not be fair to do so, but lets just see wich one will be the coolest.

Since a certain lead designer KNOWS whats cool and is SO COOL himself ...

  • @siddbastard

From a cool standpoint, I think it's fair to compare. But both games definitely aren't in the same genre, but I'm sure you know that already. I really do hope Ninja Theory gives us something to laugh at.

  • @EventStatus yeah, i know. i was just thinking, watching the dev diary, that even if it wasnt meant to, the whole vid sounded like a big "fuck you" to the guys in charge of "westernizing" the japanese gaming.

  • my neighbor works for rockstar, & when saintsrow came out i asked him how they feel about other developers ripping off gta's style. he was like '' aahh we laugh at those fools cuz they dont know how to do it right '' but i gotta be honest, i think saintsrow is much better than gta. gta's been played out since vice city.

  • @xxxkingjoexxx

GTA has always had great grittyness to it at times. (especially red light districts at night, when raining) But SR3 just looks like over the top, hilarious action. Which there's nothing wrong with that.

  • @EventStatus yeah gta has the grittyness to it. but in my opinion, thats all it really has. but again thats just my opinion. i really feel like the series has run dry and has even gone too far at points. i dont want to have to keep my character in good shape & feed him. if i wanted to do that i'll work out and eat a cheese burger my damn self. no reason to watch a game character eat. part 4, why the hell r u able to hang around ur room and watch tv when i can just watch tv? thats too much crap.

  • @xxxkingjoexxx

What pissed me off about GTA 4 was the friends always calling you to go out, when you had missions to do. If you didn't go out with them, their likeness rating would drop. It's like you want me to go out to play darts when I'm trying to focus on the main story. Fuck darts and fuck you Playboy X! (which is why I killed him lol)

  • 151 likes & 0 dislikes. never seen that before. anyway soul calibur 5...THANK THE GODS!!! its aboot fuckin time!

  • @xxxkingjoexxx

You just jinxed it lol. Wait till the usual haters come around, they'll hit the dislike button in a heart beat. I expect at least 3 dislikes or more.

  • @xxxkingjoexxx Add another Thumbs up to that. :P

  • You know i got to admit, it is VERY frustrating when you pass hours and hours of raiding and wipes, and then you finnaly see the loot you want and you lose it to someone else, i know it cus i play wow, it has happened to me countless times, i got a little sad cus after all that work i got nothing, but i NEVER, EVER, broke a piece of my hardware or got even close to those guys atittudes, thank god.

    how emberrasing.

  • @Conceicao4

I've played MMO's before, and you're right, it can be frustrating. But breaking the hardware that you're playing on, is a BIG no no. You can always goes back later and get that loot again. Usually, groups who already see your team camped out and waiting for the monster pop, know to come back later. Sometimes you'll see 2 or 3 groups camped out, so others coming along know to keep it moving.

  • ppl are trading their PS3 for XbOX ???

well, if anybody read this : Im trading my 360 for a PS3. WHY, you say ???

    BECAUSE DEMON SOUL !!!!

  • @siddbastard

Demons Souls = Legendary and it's only going to get better.

  • @EventStatus it feels really cool to see a game like this one actually being succesful, for It is so far from the market standarts right now ! thx for the trailer, it really made my day.

  • @siddbastard

No problem, glad it made your day.

  • PSN IS BACK WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • I've been without my 360 for several months (RLOD), and I haven't had XBOX Live for about a year. With a job, a girlfriend (well, we recently broke up, but still), college, a social life (hanging out with the homies, playing sports, etc), and other more important things, I find it difficult to understand why gamers feel like gaming is all there is to do. When my 360 died, I wasn't contemplating suicide.

  • @OpurumD

I agree, with a life and many activities to do outside. I don't understand either how people feel games are the end all be all.

  • Sad sad videos, I get sideways looks myself in my own life from people who find out I game. They look at me like I'm a fighter who drinks his own urine or something. Like Hockey, the only time the general media look at games or gamers is when some foolishness happens that has nothing to do with being a gamer.

I'm looking forward tentatively to Silent Hill, I'm hoping for some Alan Wake feel mixed with the F'd up stuff that Silent hill is known for. I just hope the split is 65 - 35 Atmosphere.

  • @RelevantOne

You know, it NEVER used to be that way. Back then when people found out you were a gamer, they'd said "cool, okay" and leave it at that. Now, gamers get such nasty looks and stereotypes. I will be talking about Silent Hill on friday, I have some details for it.

  • Regarding shooters: I've noticed this trend in my family. All my nephews and younger cousins play either Black ops, Halo or gears of war almost exclusively. Not a one of them has any title that is single player only on their radar, That's 25 males under 20 in my family that have even heard of LA Noir. I just chalk it up to most of them growing up in the age of Halo and online gaming being easy. None of them even remember a time without the internet.

  • @RelevantOne

It could be that, also Halo really did bring on a new generation of gamers. But with that new generation came nasty attitudes, more arguing, etc. A time without internet, pretty much made people go out and find things to do.

  • I dont know why but i really like to laugh at Ninja Theory when they say stuff like that, Shadows Of The Damned looks like a good fun game

  • @ERyder92

SoTD looks fun, and I laugh at NT as well. You have to love their enthusiasm though.

  • 24:08 wtf...

wai? wats up with dis song?

  • I'll admit, that dude breaking his monitor was fucked up. But that bitch went and deleted THREE of his goddamn characters that he'd obviously put time and effort into. Time and effort that she wiped away for a cheap laugh...

If I were him, I'd beat the shit outta that bitch, and I make it a point to not hurt women!

  • @SickBritKid Oh yeah, it's reaally frustrating to put in so much work and have an idiot who doesnt understand come and delete it. After that show of no respect, I'd cut off all her freaking hair, yeah it took time to grow, but so did my characters! Vengeance is mine!!

  • @SickBritKid

Many gamers here said that the guy can recover his characters and such, by contacting the staff. Instead, he went off instead of going through the proper channels. Granted she shouldn't of done that, but there was a better way to handle the situation ten to smash the comp. I mean, if he tries to get his characters back now, what will he play it on?

  • sorry but i think that game is gonna suck big time! it looks really bad!

  • @julianwashere

And that's fine, it's your opinion and I respect it.

  • "Taste my Big Boner!!" HA!! That gets me every time!

  • @DarkAceWoodard

That line NEVER gets old lol.

  • If Capcom's still expecting 5 million units for the DmC reboot after insulting the series' fanbase and insulting the iconic look of Dante?

How in the hell would they sell 5 mil?

  • @SickBritKid More like 500 units sold. If you buy this, you've betrayed DMC and all it stands for. Just buy Shadows of the Damned, we owe it a try for Capcom's screw up.

  • @DarkAceWoodard

I plan on buying a used copy, if the game turns out any good. Of course, it's being made by Ninja Theory...

  • @SickBritKid I agree with you, but the fact is that Capcom is going to run it at 60$ for months b4 lowering the price. I "might" buy it preowned, but I will never pay that much in a million years for a game like that. I'm even going to wait till MVC3 goes down b4 buying it. It's just not worth that much money.

  • @SickBritKid

Yes, they're still expecting it, and I have no idea how they plan on getting 5mil lol.

  • I'm sorry to say, but games nowadays aren't as hard as games back in the day. They made it so easy to win that any noob can just hammer on buttons and whoop your ass easily. Remember in the Sonic 3, Megaman, Mortal Kombat trilogy and Street fighter era? If you died too many times, thats it! No more lives which means you have to start allll the way over!! If you lost in a fighting game once, you get a freaking countdown till you enter another quarter. Thats how it should be.

  • @DarkAceWoodard

I agree, you only had a number of chances and then it was game over. Start all the way over. People think Demons Souls is tough. Play Castlevania 2!

  • yo event what are your views on la noire?

  • @7LamarOdom

So far, it's pretty good. I'm only 4 cases into the game though.

  • Imagine NT has been Trolling us from the very beginning and they are gonna show the Real Devil May Cry 5 starring the Dante we all know and love and that this was all a PR stunt to get people to look at them? lmao

  • Yeah you can tell none of those guys get laid. Shit how pathetic a can those gamers get?

  • @IRON5

I don't think he gets worse than what they're doing, but I could be wrong lol.

  • PSN appears to be up but the ps store is still down soon milkcom will get back to buisness trying to sell 5 dollar costumes they actually need to come up with new games and stop being like EA and pokemon and get out of the safe zone thats coming apart as we see with DMC be cool while some gamers waiste away playing COD and several other fps

  • @megamikex1

PSN store still down = No games with online passes can be redeemed or played online lol. That goes for MK as well.

  • wow, some people are nuts when it comes to games seriously, i didn't freak out when PSN went down, I was about to move into a new apartment, so I looked at it as a chance to get stuff done, and it gave me time to do other things around my new place as well. And now that the PSN is back up, I do look forward to playing with my buddies again in Ops and Mortal Kombat. But to smash a computer because someone stole your "leather belt", wow...keep up the awesome vids Event!

  • @flounder02rko

That must have been one HELL of a leather belt lol.

  • ohh damn. that guy got pissed. and in all honesty i would have been mad too, but not like that. she had no right to do that. but he kinda overreacted. theres no reason for that guy to lose his cool like that

  • @TheJumpman319

He could have recovered his characters, by contacting the staff via online or phone. Instead, he turned into a one man wrecking crew.

  • On a serious note, I'm glad you've pointed out that deal about Gamer etiquette. God knows I've been guilty of that in my youth, but there's no reason as adults to lose your shit like that, damn. I know I get angry and if it comes to that, I just stop and take a break. The last thing I need to do is break my HDTV and look like an idiot.

  • @Yosefhouser

Exactly, if anything breaking my HD TV would make me even more mad lol.

  • THAT'S MY BIG BONER!!!

    ^^

Huge reason to buy Shadows of the Damned right there.

  • @Yosefhouser

    Agreed 100%

  • that games looks crap bleh

  • the vid with the leather belt thing was fake he had an old computer and a smirk on his face

  • I own a PS3 but I only ever use the PSN to download demos. And free demos at that. I hate multiplayer because I always seem to end up playing with jackasses online. So I stick to single player games and I prefer them. I cant afford to buy any new games atm, so when I get bored with the ones I have I just go out and walk the dog or do the garden. Seeing the way those people overeacted is just plain embarrassing.

  • @SinOan

I agree, there are better things to do than have a hissy fit over a game. It seems these guys have closed out the rest of the world, to live in a fake one.

  • Why do most off my friends, who are gamers, on Facebook dislike my status about the PSN back up & Gamer Etiquette?

I know I have, and many other gamers, hates playing with ppl online and rather play offline with ppl "FACE-TO-FACE". In all honesty, I don't enjoy playing online but I feel enjoyment playing offline. Online gameplay is great...its the gamers who act bitchy and crap while they're online.

Am I the only Normal Gamer who likes offline play?

  • @brc2thelimit

Many of us still enjoy offline. Online is nice, as long as it's optional. But companies are focusing too much on online, and it hurts single player.

  • I completely agree with you about videogames being an art.

It takes time, creativity and dedication to piece a good game together, so why the hell is it NOT art?

I would also like to point out games like Okami that are interactive pieces of art.

As for those 'hardcore" gamers you should in those clips.

    I really wouldn't even call them gamers,they're

    Zombies.

It's shameful to see people act this way over a GAME.

Games are meant to bring out JOY and inspiration,

    Not OBSESSION.

  • @br0kenbutt3rfly23

I agree 100%, and they are indeed Zombies. And I still have Okami :)

  • @EventStatus

    You do? That's awesome!! XD

    I only have a poor copy,sadly.

It's secondhand, I want a better one soon.

I want to see the day when gamers act like normal human beings again and value the aspect of

having fun, and that the developers will be driven by the idea of BRINGING fun through innovation and creativity. I'm really tired of companies competing with each other, bringing out new consoles when the current ones still have much potential.

    ENOUGH WITH THE CRAB MENTALITY.

  • @br0kenbutt3rfly23

If you're tired of companies competing with each other, you're going to be really pissed on friday lol. Because they're at it again, but this time they're out to destroy products (won't release names until friday)

  • @EventStatus

My goodness, why can't we all just stop FIGHTING?

    *sigh*

Seriously, this is getting out of hand.

People are way too aggressive in modern society,

like the whole world is WALL STREET

A good example of this is when there are "console wars" and the most recent

    "PSN war".

Don't they realize their actions affect not only ONE COMPANY, but their fellow gamers around the world as well?

    Geez, ENOUGH WITH THE FIGHTING!!.

  • @br0kenbutt3rfly23

They definitely so affect the gamers, but they aren't thinking about us. They're only thinking about themselves.

  • you're right man gaming isn't about bitchen its about fun man

  • @xiphos21

And it seems people forget that part a lot.

  • @EventStatus they should've take the idea that Kojima did w/ MGS4 and go w/ that...give ppl a great single player at the same time a great multiplayer but it seem to be unbalanced everytime they create games. I could be wrong on that.

  • @MasterOssy

MGS4 did a great job with that, the only thing that hurt MGO is the separate sign up at instead of using all PSN.

  • @EventStatus after this PSN outage if they still think that online multiplayer is their future in gaming then it's gonna hurt them even further so to me it's best they may want to go back and focus more on singer player.....more of a 70/30 thing.

  • @MasterOssy

I agree, multiplayer should be dare I say, tacked on without hurting single player. This is why some games don't do well. Resistance 2's online co-op was addictive and amazing. However, the single player part of it was only average.

  • .I did the update around 8:00pm the network got back on around 10:00pm NYC time I been playin online since keep trying if u can't connect the first time !!!

  • @MajorPinga

    Thanks for the update

  • @angelokool1

    Looks damn good too.

  • Psn is up!!!

  • @Dream308

    Thanks, much appreciated.

  • is it wrong to think some of the clips were funny

  • @The543505

    No, not at all.

  • You should sign up for Partnership, you definitely deserve it.

  • @GreeNxBlader

I am a partner, I just don't use all the perks that come with it.

  • Please Lord save the world if they ever make something that puts your mind into the game. Nobody working, eating, living. They'll all be in the freaking game.

  • @DarkAceWoodard

LOL You're right, and you'll have to face them as well in boss battle mode.

  • "With that being said."

said about 50 times in this video

  • The main thing about gaming is that it's supposed to be fun, but these people actually turned it into a freaking chore, a lifestyle! Take some damn time to hit the gym, clean up yourself, do something to stimulate your minds!

  • @DarkAceWoodard

I agree, they've gone too far with it and have become consumed.

  • My bad! Now I getting blue screen to change password . When I click ok I'm getting psn still down.. We are getting there..

  • It came back on around 8:00pm NYC time I was able to login n update Vr 3.61 then my ps3 reboot it by it self .. Try to login again n got the same old SHIT!!! PSN is currently undergoing maintenance... DAM.

  • Now see, this stuff is exactly what I'm talking about. Those scenes where they break the keyboards and computers, now you know that they did not pay for that shit!! My shit cost too much damn money to be breaking it over a 50 dollar game. Second of all, Capcom is falling, and falling hard. DmC, you've got to be kidding me. I have DMC to DMC4 and compared to those, DmC lookslike crap. True shit.

  • @DarkAceWoodard

Capcom and NT will be laughed about at E3 if they keep going this route.

  • @EventStatus Thanks for agreeing. Still, I really thought they learned their lesson about putting in the customer's ideas be4 their own. Look at DMC and DMC 2, they werent that good, and we said they werent. After listening they were finally able to bring out 2 perfect sequels like DMC 3 and DMC 4. Compared to a new Devil hunter game, DmC has noooo chance. Just put Virgil on DMC 4 and I'll be happy, seriously.

  • @DarkAceWoodard But Capcom Fails because they say they don't want anything that's not a sequel but they themselves are trying too hard to ignore that DMC2 existed, that's why they haven't released a sequel to that game and all we are getting are prequels... why don't they just remake the 2nd one and be done with it? >.>

  • @KERWIN4619 The timeline unfortunately doesnt work that way. DMC 2 is the LAST game in the series, which pretty much leaves a huge gap in the whole thing. It pretty much says that capcom fucked up and can ONLY do prequels. Vergil, Nero, Trish, Lady, they all are huge gaps in the story since NONE of them showed up in DMC 2. I wish they did a prequel with all of them, but since it requires a lot of work to connect the dots, don;t expect it too soon.

  • @KERWIN4619 Sorry, I meant sequel. My mistake.

  • @DarkAceWoodard

I thought Capcom would have learned their lesson after DMC2, and gave us a great DMC3. But they seem to be taking steps back. After DMC4, they really want to go backwards instead of progression?

  • @ericharris32

I agree, we all yell from time to time. But I'm not breaking shit lol.

  • @EventStatus Kids nowadays right? Don't know the value of shit. Those of us who work for this stuff have a lot more common sense to treat the shit we buy with respect. It takes a lot of work to be a true gamer, hard...freaking...hours.

  • @DarkAceWoodard

I agree, with some of them mommy and daddy buy the shit. They cry enough about it, they'll get their way. They haven't put in the hard work.

  • It came back on around 8:00pm NYC time I was able to login n update Vr 3.61 then my ps3 reboot it by it self .. Try to login again n got the same old SHIT!!! PSN is currently undergoing maintenance... DAM.

  • @ChaosPunksXe

Well it's been confirmed that he could have recovered his character, by just contacting the staff. But instead, he decided to wreck the entire computer.

  • @ChaosPunksXe

I own a Wii, but I barely play anything on it except monster hunter tri. I will have some nintendo coverage next week though.

  • @TwoSmokingMuskets

It does, I think it's going to be hilarious. I can't wait to try it out to see just how far they go into gameplay.

  • AHAHAHAHA, best in show, yeah, I don't think so.

On the subject of how these...people have sullied the rest of use gamers, you may have heard about how Howard Stern went on about us recently. I get that he's a relic from a bygone age and that he's degenerated into just ranting about anything now, but what he said pretty much echoes the sentiments of other people who don't really have a full understanding of a gamer's lifestyle or personality. We've become some minority group to abuse now.

  • @PsychoWerekitsune

Stern? I'll have to check out what he said. I've never been a fan of him, but I am interested to hear his view on the matter. And about the abuse part it seems gamers are willing to take more and more of it these days. Back then they would fight till the end, I don't understand how gamers have become this way.

  • good show. its unbeleiveble how peole like angry german kid can act, but ive never thought about that it would give me a bad name =(

  • @reviewmaster007

Yeah, once a video like that kid is out in the public. We all get stereotyped in that manner indirectly.

  • R U SERIOUS? Times have changed and I'm not liking it one bit. Thes kids now a days are so freaking retarded that they can't even distinguish real from fantasy.

I'm 22 years old and I am an old school player so I can say that the arcade days back then at the mall, skating rink, and bowling alleys were my teaching grounds on gamer etiquette and I've never seen no shit like that anywhere. If anything, if you messed with the system, you get your ass kicked and kicked out.

  • @DarkAceWoodard

Exactly! If you weren't at an arcade at the mall, it was a skating rink or bowling alley. There was always somewhere you could hang out. And yes, if you messed with a system, gamers would jump on you because you're ruining the fun for everyone else. It was very rare someone would have an outburst.

  • Ninja Theory....they are so naive.

  • @n3r0dmc4

I agree, at this point you have to treat them like a kid, when the child says they'll grow up to be a be star. You just take it with a grain of salt, because you know things could change.

  • lmao :D he's all sad n pissed off that his girl deleated his world of warcraft , and destroy the cpu? lmao seriously? it's just a fuckin game some people act like its everything to them lol God these people make it look like all gamers are retarted lmao

  • @sharp2257 But think about the time that went into that. If I was in his situation, I'd be pissed that I'd invested time in that and some moron came along and went "lol delete". I've never played WoW and I don't intend to, but if you're too stupid to realize that erasing something that someone has put a lot of effort into is a bad call, then you're an ignorant moron

  • @sharp2257

I can understand being mad, maybe even curse her out over it. But for what people are telling me, you can get your account & character back, there's a recovery system if you contact them. So I don't understand the guys rage on taking out the entire computer.

  • Ninja Theory win best in show? Maybe in the twilight zone. And no way in hell is DmC winning best beat'em up. Also that guy flipping out over WoW was just sad....really really sad. I've heard horror stories of WoW flip outs but that...wow. As for new consoles...meh. It's just gonna be this gen with prettier visuals. Companies are still going to nickle and dime people with DLC. Honestly PSN being down is no big deal for me. Got plenty of great single players games to play. Online isn't everything

  • @Gaddesreinhart

DMC doesn't have a shot with that E3 lineup so far. The flipping out really disappoints me, I expect much ore from not just gamers, but people controlling their attitude. It's only a game. And you're right, companies version of "next gen" is just prettier graphics. They'll stick with this DLC business model until people stand up and say they've had enough.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOO, not Shura! Even though she was a Cervantes clone, she was the coolest clone!

All those who traded their PS3s for cash or a 360 are probably those who only play Call of Duty, Medal of Honor and RE5 Versus, but don't know what the game is about other than shooting other people and yell like an imbecile when they get a headshot or killed.

That's why I don't need online, I can beat DMC4 or RE4 9+ times and never get bored, because the game/plot is good & fun, not recicled FPS shit.

  • @Machintoshhater

It's sad the market is flooded with that type of gamer though. It shows they only care about one type of game, and don't have an overall perspective of what it means to be a gamer. Or at least being open-minded to other genres. A good game will always have you coming back to it.

  • @EventStatus Yeah, like the stupid kids that go around posting that rock is dying because 98% of today's teenagers only listen to pop, and because it's mainstream is total shit. In games is just the opposite, this kind of gamers complain about un-realistic games because they're not realistic.

Games are mean to be a escape from reality, not a reminder about the ongoing wars and terrorism in the world. If I wanted to play a football game, I'd go outside and play football instead of playing FIFA.

  • @Machintoshhater

I agree, they are an escape from reality. Trying to make them more realistic defeats the entire purpose. Granted there is a genre for it, but every game doesn't need it. I swear, if someone complains about Mario not being realistic enough, I'm going to kill them lol.

  • @EventStatus

In realistic I think we can agree that graphic-wise, making the characters look alive is an important thing nowadays, but one thing is graphics, and another different one is "Where in the world is Osama bin Laden?" featuring the most realistic mechanic in which one single bullet can either kill you or leave you in a wheelchair. I heard there is a Halo Kinect game, and I believe nothing will be more depressing than seeing a 20 years old going "pew pew" while pointing at the screen

  • "No matter how much you scream at your computer, no one else can hear you". A quote from battlefield heroes.

  • @OnlyTubenami

    Agreed 100%

  • The fact that the antisocial my-life-is-over-if-I-lost-my-WoW/PSN niche crowd that has defined video games for the past few years is more than less the precursor that could lead to the end of the popularity of console gaming. Half of a product is about the "kind" of people who consume it. If you see normal people with the product, fine. If you see antisocial rage nerds define a game, it turns the mainstream off. The same thing has happened to things like pro wrestling and PC gaming.

  • @thefairfaxian

I agree, these types of people or should I say "caricatures" of gamers give us a bad rep. So it pushes a stereotype upon us, and when the public sees that. They walk away from the hobby itself.

  • OMG when i saw the video of the girl who deleted her boyfriends account i died inside! XD

  • @TheRealDEMAND

She was wrong for doing it, but something tells me they had this talk before and he didn't listen, and that was the final result.

  • @EventStatus When you have a hard time deciding between your girlfriend and a game... THATS when you know its time to stop :P
