@DutchCop i actually liked this more than new vegas. although that has a better story seriously everything in new vegas looked very bland. New vegas covered like 5% of the map. Fallout 3 has better looks than fallout new vegas alltogether in the whole map.

Since the Fallout games are RPGs, all focus should rightfully be on the story. ;) I agree with you that F:NV looks bland and generic at times, but FO3 did so in my opinion as well. Nothing but dark and gray surroundings, endless metro tunnels and other "dungeons" and uninteresting/illogical locations and characters. Some of it due to the crappy game engine, but mostly due to the developers at Bethesda. Obsidian did a very good job honoring the franchise they lost in 2004.

@DutchCop Son, are you on drugs. What the hell do you mean F3 is dark and grey its a freakin nuclear wasteland it's supposed to look like that. FNV is quite honestly an embarassment to the fallout name. Obsidian sold out, focusing more on combat and everything looking pretty than they did on giving it an authentic nuclear wasteland feel.

@dZeazR Actually, the creators of the first Fallout did want to use "I don't want to set the world on fire" as the theme song, but there was a copyright issue with it so they used Maybe instead... It's not just a reference, it's a tribute.
