  • Anyone who doesn't get chills hearing a choir sing this song has no soul.

  • wow! beautiful arrangement! and a great choir! who is the arranger

  • @d1966i It's arranged by Harry Evans and published by Hughes & Son and Educational Publishing, Cardiff. The audio for this is on the choir's CD Legacy, available from our website. Google Worcester Male Voice Choir

  • Nothing can beat the Welsh Choir ...

I love their choral rendition in their Welsh trademark of fine voices.

I found your channel via peskylisa.

  • I had heard this song a long time ago, when I was a little girl and thinking it was one of the most beautiful songs I had ever heard.

  • The song brought tears to my eyes...I remember my nana singing it to me when I was a child. It always helped me feel better when I was sad.

  • Heavenly! Thank you!

    Excellent video.

  • Beautiful - thank you so much for posting this, one of my many favorites and sung so reverently and with great dignity - Lance † ♫

  • I love this song; this and 'Baby of Mine' (from Dumbo) are my favourite lullabys. Do you know Cyndi Lauper recorded this?

Sleep my child and peace attend thee,

    All through the night

Guardian angels God will send thee,

    All through the night;

Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,

Hill and vale in slumber sleeping,

I my loved ones' watch am keeping,

    All through the night.

  • Angels watching, e'er around thee,

    All through the night

    Midnight slumber close surround thee,

    All through the night

Soft the drowsy hours are creeping,

Hill and vale in slumber sleeping

I my loved ones' watch am keeping,

    All through the night

  • While the moon her watch is keeping,

    All through the night

While the weary world is sleeping,

    All through the night

    O'er thy spirit gently stealing,

    Visions of delight revealing

Breathes a pure and holy feeling,

    All through the night.

  • very amazing performance!

  • Greetings from America

Very beautiful...a very dear friend of mine from Wales sent this to me. Lovely.

  • this is not english people is it?

  • Most of us are English, a few are Welsh and one or two actually speak the language. (There's a Scotish man and an American too!)

  • i thought i heard a few welsh voices in there :D

considering most of you are english and 1 scottish and 1 american the pronounciation is very good!

    chwarae teg!

  • no it id welsh. duhh =]=]=]

  • @jack24rugby .. !!!!!!!!

your just a blur in speed your journey

My moms from England and i my grandpapa lives in Worcester.

  • Chwarae teg, mae'r Saeson wedi ceisio i ddinistrio'r Gymraeg ers canrifoedd; mae'n hen bryd iddyn nhw DYSGU'r Gymraeg!

  • worcester MA? if so i live there :)

  • Sorry, Worcester England!!

  • where are all the Welsh Choirs, seems sad that we have to have an english bunch of dudes singing a traditional Welsh song

  • Well YouTube is open to all and we'd all love a Welsh choir to post something. About 25% of this choir are actually Welshmen and three or four speak the language too! We were also joined at this choir by Merthyr Tydfill Ladies Choir so we're making the effort. Is Dudes a complement? Somehow makes me think of Mott The Hoople!

  • They are all over the United Kingdom not least, the the London Welsh Male Voice Choir

We have lived together since centuries before the USA was twinkle in the Queen of Spain's eye.

What is this? A Yank saying saying a Welsh choir must not have any English singers? That would be regarded as racism in this country and against the law.

You have a great big hairy issue with this?Just don't come here.

In case you don't know Worcester is just a few minutes over the Welsh/English border.

  • just a few minutes over the Welsh/English border? I suppose it really depends on which side you approach from!!

  • A favourite song of mine since I was small and my mother sang it with the English words. Thanks for posting!
