Go to a dealer only auction with an used car dealer.Chevy trucks bring the most money including suburbans and Tahoes. The Fords, forget it and called cheap trucks a lot.Nascar driver Camping World Truck Series driver Ron Hornaday even said in it an interview,Chevrolet has been so good to him and it would be stupid to switch to another manufacturer.Even Tony Stewart is the same way,a loyal Chevrolet fanatic and he was not too happy when Joe Gibbs Racing sitched to Toyota in 2008.
well i got to admit as far as longevity Chevy trucks take the cake my father brought a s-10 1997 brand new, still has it over 200k on odometer so far not a minutes worth of trouble except a few ware and tear repairs
Why the hell can't chevy build pickups like these anymore. Now they're about 6" off the ground, they're as ugly as sarah jessica parker. And they're built to satisfy liberal politicians instead of the people own them.
@johndeere6780 people love new crap in their trucks, i'm planning on keeping my 90 for many years, it was made the same month and year i was born. Silverado 4x4 shortbox reg cab 350. maroon outside and in.
@flynnstephen how? are you rolling down a hill into a money pit of trouble...i have had 3 suburbans 1st one was a 1988 454 3/4 ton 2nd was a 95 350 and now i got a 04 1500 the 85 went to about 190,000 miles the 95 went to 180,000(life cut short due to inexpierenced daughter) and the 04 has 93,000 and no repairs besides tires, oil and all fluids
Those old trucks were the best. Hardly ever broke down, and when they did the parts are very cheap to buy for them. They rode great, and took a lot of abuse. Chevy trucks made before 1994 also had the best A/C systems I ever experienced. After 1994 even though they didn't change a thing body wise, they didn't blow nearly as cold as the 93 and prior years. Wonder why? Cheaper parts...
@AAAFlorida1 yeah! the parts WERE cheap. what the hell happened?? idk if id call them the best trucks around tho cause mine had lots of problems. cant use chevs as a work truck. leave that to ford!
@AAAFlorida1 1993 and older had R-12 air-conditioning refrigerant. In 1994, the government mandated that all auto manufacturers must use the environmentally friendly R134a shit. R12 blows colder than than R134a.
0:09 i want a red chevy just like that, but I would have to have the extended or crew cab one because when I can drive, i will have to haul like 4 people around.
@cheese2507 no they wont fit unless you want to swap out your core support 88-89 are totally different compared to the updated 94-98 chevy trucks i got a 93 chevy truck but the difference is the type of headlights 90-98 is sealed beam headlights while 88-89 is old style glass
