@Pyrophorics I know! Take any other long-running sitcom and the actors often are almost to the point of killing one another by the end. But with Home improvement all the actors really did regard one another as family. It's incredibly touching and I don't think hollywood will ever find another cast with that same magic again.
hands down one of the saddest last bows on any tv show ever! you could actually see and feel the love! you could feel there pain so much that it makes you cry.
This show was a carbon copy of my own. I grew up in metro Detroit, dad's name is Tim and is the ultimate handyman, brother was Brad. Reminds me of those goofy times and happy that our family returns to our hometown this year in time for the holidays.
One if the best shows of all time, shows like these only come around once every 10 years and for me it took "that 70's show" to remind me what a good show is after watching all the junk inbetween
OMG What is up with people. People keep saying you never see Wilson's face! Yes, you do! Anyone who sees this comment look up the episode "Neighbors" from Home Improvement. When he turns around to move to another place in the mini green house on the set of Tool Time you see his face in the slightly fogged glass just before he raises it to the wooden frame! Please like this comment if you see what I told you to look up!
@mr1spamification i know, well if you were on the show foreverand it ends, you get upset and everything. its like a family if you been on it all yor life
At the end when Tim was talking about that terribly akward moment when you know you're never going to see someone again, I started tearing up because I know exactly what that feels like. R.I.P. Earl Hindman A.K.A. Wilson Wilson Jr.
I remembered this final show when I was watching , man it made me really sad, had some tears, heartbroken...its sad to see them gone and not doing the show anymore." Friends" show, oh man I had an emotional about this final show of Friends.
Did anyone notice how many times Patricia Richardson was patted on her big butt during this scene. I counted at least 3. This appeared to not be an accident.
Great great show...my favorite HI quote is when Jill was being a real bitch and she told Tim to buy milk...when he got back he said "Okay, I have 2% milk, 1% milk, no percent milk, baby milk, evaporated milk, soy milk and for me milk of magnesia. xDDD
You know, the other night I was watching this show and it was one of the early episodes. It was the one where Tim takes his youngest son, Mark, to karate lessons and he gets his lights knocked out by some other kids father after he tells him not to have his son call Mark "Stickboy." Thank You.
@judithlightrox That show was called "Inside the Actor's Studio." The man that Tim was talking to was James Lipton, the host of the show. That show comes on Bravo every Monday I think.
oh and jonathan taylor thomas will regret for his life missing the ending episode.

It weird how much a show can leave an impact on not only the actors but the people watching. After so much time, I still really miss this show.

TV is now plagued by those stupid reality shows. I especially hate those god damn Kardashians. There needs to more great ones like Home Improvement.
prepper04 1 year ago
@prepper04 Agreed. Except they cost a lot of money. Those stupid reality shows generate the same ratings and cost a lot less to produce.
