I love many of their songs even the ones that are said to be "light", so it is ok for me whatever they decide to do with their music, strong or light ,meanwhile they did it great there is no problem. Good music is beyond trends. It trascend time and age generations differences´ . =)

Hahaha, Death Magnetic like Ride and Master????, Do u even know to listen???, on those albums they were on the leadership of Cliff (From my point of view), so they put on 'em alot of the classical influence of cliff, although with the thrash power, death magnetic it's not a bad album either, i like a couple of song but simply won't bring back the metallica from the 80's, so u can't compare'em oh... and BTW, i do like poison, motley crue, same as megadeth, slayer, anthrax, lamb of God, etc. ;);)

Thrash was great but it´s gone. It´s not thrash what metal nowadays need. I respect your opinion however I disagree. They did thrash in the right moment but why should they back to the same they did again. Whenever we want to listen to good thrash we´ll always have the chance to listen to Kill ´Em All or any other good album but Metal changed forever. They need to keep looking for a good new sound to make something different.
