i still scream every time he appears on the screen when i watch the movies... i know how to do his hairstyle on my hair... i know almost all his lines in the movies... i have written multiple stories and poems about him... i don't know how many times i have drawn pictures of him... i write his name all over my schoolwork... i think i'm a fangirl!

You get to hear about his father and his home in the Hobbit. Anywhay, I'm not impressed about you squeeing over the movies. Learn his REAL lines, from the books.

@maggiemay2020 There is a huge difference between a true fan and a fangirl. Fangirls mostly drool over their fav characters because they look good. They rather watch and make vids or read and write fanfiction romances about their fav characters instead of reading amazing books by prof. Tolkien.

To all "fangirls"! READ THE BOOKS!! They are a million times better than the movies. You get way more of a feel for the world, the plots are deeper, characters are more developed and complex. And in my opinion, you can't say you love a character and not know their real story.

@TheSweetheart34 I know he is going to be in The Hobbit. But The Hobbit/An Unexpected Journey and The Hobbit/There and Back Again aren't lotr movies. They are based on Tolkien's book The Hobbit which is about Bilbo's adventures which took place 70 years before lotr.

@wattes999 When we speak about Legolas being a prince.There isn't use the word "prince"in the movie(and in the book if I remember correctly )but Haldir says to Legolas:"Mae govannen,Legolas Thranduilion".Which means "Welcome son of Thranduil".And we know Thranduil is a king of Mirkwood.So Haldir indirectly points the fact that Legolas is the prince.

And in the book there is written that king Thranduil sent his son Legolas.

Rest of the time they are blue, all Elves' eyes are naturally light colored. I know, I'm such a LOTR fangirl...But whatever makes us fantasy-loving girls happy!
