I am an old bareback rider from the late '70s and '80s.

It really brings back many wonderful memories watching this video. Rodeo took me to wonderful places and introduced me to some of the greatest people I've ever known!

@ILuvMeg111 haha Helmets throw your balance off in the bareback and saddle bronc riding. Plus it's rare for your head to get stomped or anything in the bronc riding events.

@wildmandazza That's an interesting way to look at it. However, I wear protective vests to keep from being seriously injured if I get kicked or stepped on or something. I also tape my arm to keep from hyper extending my elbow.
