If you watch the deleted scenes you'll notice they cut a lot of Eric Bana's scenes, I guess so that they could focus more on the other characters. He's really a sympathetic villain which I think makes him more interesting. Instead of being a typical "I want to enslave humanity type of guy" your like "no wonder he's so screwed up." You almost want him to succeed in destroying the Federation. Poor guy.

I was not looking forward to yet another shot at Star Trek. Have been disappointed before with some of the tv shows. I *grudgingly* went to theater to see this movie. O! M! G! This movie, this cast, JJ Abrams...., PHENOMINAL! I have watched and re-watched this film so many times... and I can't WAIT for another one. This was fan-freakin-tastic. LLAP!

thank goodness i am not the only one who developed a spock/zach lust! lol...i just watched it at my local $1.99 theater last night after twisting my younger sister's arm to go with. in the middle of the movie i leaned over and whispered 'i think spock is HOT!' and she said 'yeah...i think he is too!'. needless to say there are two new 'trekkie' fans. i'm going back to see it again for two reasons:

1. zach/spock

2.awesome storyline/great action
