@mrius123 there are plenty of reasons for fights in lacrosse and hockey, most of it is about the momentum of the game. If your team is losing and just not playing with any spirit a fight can amp up your team, and its like giving each one of them a kick in the ass and get them fired up. If a game is getting dirty and emotions are high it can calm tempers down. Sure there are occasional fights that are just there to sell tickets and sometimes there just plain revenge but its a key part of the game

Secondly , you seem to be unaware that professional athletes train specifically for their sport. So most NFL linemen would be able to tackle a lacrosse player.
