However you picture it, remember that when you die you will be joining a very, very large group of people. In that way we are never alone!

Only strong feelings? There is overwhelming evidence that speaks in favour of an afterlife, independent of religion and cultural conditioning. Robert Monroe is one of the people who helped bringing this evidence into public consciousness. Study it.

If you have a very strong feeling about not going around a corner or something bad will happen and then something bad happens, is that not evidence for something?

I have read about belief system territories where groups of like minded people create there own little worlds that fit their beliefs. So perhaps Mormons would have their own place and Suni Muslims would have their own reality that is based on what they expect and believe the after life will be like.

So much this supports the immortality of the soul so that one may inquire the concepts of heaven or hell. Our final destination when we die is an important question. Jesus Christ is the solution by accepting his sacrifice which is vital to our final resting place, but also a comfort to our consciences. Joel 2:32, Roman 10:13 I say this because I love you all.

You are speaking from your religious conditioning. Jesus showed us that we have the same Light within us that he has. We are going to continue to learn and grow spiritually in the next life, not sit around resting, we are still going to be a live and still have a purpose. The afterlife can not defined by ancient culture, primitive understanding, or legalistic religious teachings.
