There is no evidence the Senator Kennedy was drunk at the time of the accident there is evidence that he had a head injury and from his behavior he certainly wasn't acting in a way that made any sense, common in victims of head injuries. Senator Kennedy and former First Lady Laura Bush were both involved in tragic accidents the key word there is accidents. The reason it has no funding is that you people don't want to pay taxes. You can fund it if you want to. We did have that problem when govt health insurance was first introduced in the '70s and we got into trouble in the '90s. We had start paying for it but the program has always been so popular here in Canada, we had to pay for it with taxes. It really does work well and most people are satisfied with it, though you can always find disgruntled users if you try. That's true of you system also.

This being the case, Limbaugh DID NOT engage in "HATE SPEECH" and by Media Matters accusing him of this, in my opinion, they are LIABLE for damages. This would be under "defamation of character" or "character assassination" at the VERY LEAST. Go read the legal definitions and see if they fit your all's comments. MSNBC did this when they ran the story of the Tea Party being racist by zooming in on a machine gun at a rally, when it was being carried by a black man. Painted it like it was Bubba.

There is no evidence the Senator Kennedy was drunk at the time of the accident there is evidence that he had a head injury and from his behavior he certainly wasn't acting in a way that made any sense, common in victims of head injuries. Senator Kennedy and former First Lady Laura Bush were both involved in tragic accidents the key word there is accidents. I don't blame people when they have an accident I do hope they learn to forgive themselves and move on.

Agreed. Accidents happen and sometimes something good can come from them and sometimes people grow from them. I think Senator Kennedy and Former First Lady Laura Bush both grew and became better people because of the tragedies in their pasts.

not to mention, at that time she was Laura Welsh, she was under 18.......so was her class mate...did this ever happen to somebody in your highschool? cause unfortunately a few of my classmates died in their teens due to car accidents when I was in highschool....but their was no controversy. that's why Laura's accident isn't a big story either.

Both Laura Bush and Senator Kennedy did something stupid and someone else paid for it with their lives. Both had tragic accidents but that what they were, accidents. We can speculate and assume and listen to people who have an axe to grind or we can be adults and look at the facts, I chose to look at the facts.

You forgot the 1400+ children who died because he refused to force aspirin companies to put a warning label that aspirin could cause Reye's syndrome in children. A year later after they put the warning label on deaths plummeted but that's largely been forgotten.

Your govt worked quite well until Regan & his kind set out to ruin it. The issue by the way is not govt health care but govt health insurance, which in Canada works well.

The reason it has no funding is that you people don't want to pay taxes. You can fund it if you want to. We did have that problem when govt health insurance was first introduced in the '70s and we got into trouble in the '90s. We had start paying for it but the program has always been so popular here in Canada, we had to pay for it with taxes. It really does work well and most people are satisfied with it, though you can always find disgruntled users if you try. That's true of you system also.

I'm sorry to tell you that I am not being paid by anyone. I'm sorry your aunt had such a bad outcome but I'm sure I could find many, many bad stories about your health care. Our system is not broke, it would only be broke if people refused to pay taxes to fund it and that's not going to happen, Of course there never will be enough health care, bad things will happen, we do our best but it doesn't always work out. I'm not lying, I love our system, it has been very good to me & mine.

Health care will always be rationed no matter what system. We have an unlimited desire for it. Right now you have rationing done by private insurance companies. Why is it better that a private company can tell you what to do over a govt agency. Your private health insurance co. are a total scam. They can make money because they don't have to take high risk patients. Medicare, medicaid, the VA take the riskiest people. Then they can dump you if you become ill, or refuse to insure you. Scam.
