Excellent song from one of the top albums of the 80`s. The video is just plain awful. Good stuff! I got this album on it´s release and still it is one of my absolute favourites. Never seen the video before. I´m not sure if I´m completely happy with having seen it but hey sometimes you´ve gotta live on the edge (of good taste that is).

Oh, I doubt that the GBs would agree that the Smiths are overrated. There was some cross-influence.

Over the same 3 or 4 years in the 1980s, the Smiths, by my reckoning, produced 30 pop masterpieces, and the GBs produced about 20. For which I'll always be grateful.

The GBs didn't get the recognition of course.
