  • Brothers please listen!!!!

  • Preach.

  • G-d Bless you brother!

  • The book of Hosea pretty much backs up everything he said here. Even back when I was single, guys would confide in me about their frustrations with their wives. I couldn't tell them anything from experience, but I told them read Hosea because it's another husband who had marital drama beyond measure - unfaithful wife, raising children that might not be his, having to recuse his wife from trouble again and again. It's always helped put things in perspective.

  • Awesome, awesome. A biblical world view.

  • Amen Voddie!!! Every man who is married or thinking about getting married should watch this!

  • @vincemealfull Nope, men and women of all colors are sinful and wretched. Hence the difficulties of marriage or just getting along with our fellow man in general. Do you think 'common sense' prevailed when blacks were legally enslaved in this country? I guess we should not have had any pastors telling us slavery was wrong, or anything else was wrong. Just let our hearts and common sense prevail...

    doh.

  • You have a new subscriber! Preach it pastor!

  • I don't think he was saying that it was more important for a man to love his wife than to actually be in love with her, but rather saying that if a man is professing faith in Christ, he needs to unconditionally love his wife (and all people for that matter). That is Godly love. It is the love that was shown on the cross. Jesus did not say before he went to the cross: " well if you guys live how I have taught you to live, I would be more willing to die for your sins". No, it was unconditional,

  • here is the question to ask - why doesn't the man love his wife anymore?? Why is it more important for him to just love her and not be in lvoe with her and his happiness is not important as hers? Maybe refinding that love is what is truely important and being in love more than doing a job - for better or worse on both ends. Keep your marriage happy and in love is the responsibility of both people. We marry for love, not for slavery.

  • @denhamfmly If you think being 'in love' (a feeling) is more important than loving (action) your marriage will be doomed to failure. You love even though the person is being unlovable. And the man is commanded to love as Christ loved the church and GAVE HIMSELF UP for her... while she (the church) was still his enemy lost in sin. The wife may or may not respond to that love. That is her sin for which she is accountable. But her sin does not remove his responsibility to do what is right.

  • @terriergal well said. I am a female but that even helped me understand better lol, God bless :)

  • @denhamfmly If you listen to what he says he tells you why. He did not say that her happiness is more important then his. INSTEAD he tells you the truth LOVE is a choice and an emotion but marriage is MORE then emotions...

  • I wish men and women understood eachother better-but it seems the more we woman want to point the finger at th...e guy, we stop to think that maybe we want more than a man can understand to give and a man wants more than a woman can understand to give. So, in the end - maybe we all should want less and be thankful more.

Wouldn't that be the true message of GOD?

  • @denhamfmly He talks to the women as well, but the men are supposed to be the head of the woman, and here he was speaking to the men. Find a message where he speaks to the women.

  • THIS IS A BEAST!!!

  • What did he say when he was making an observation about losing his job? "I really have..

  • @desasterz I believe he said "I really have enjoyed my tenure." God Bless!

  • I wish we could find a church like yours here... WOW right on and absolutely the total TRUTH... Coming from a man....
