Ive seen this movie a long time ago. If I remember correctly, James Woods in it was vampire hunting version of Rambo. If HE appeared in Twilight, everyone would die. Because, even though Twilighters are strong as hell, and can endure most vampire killing stuff, they cant handle MANLINESS!!!

I think i knew of it since im a Carpenter fan, but i just read the part on Mystic RIver where Dave shows his wife how fucked-up he really is and this was the movie he was watching to describe how badly the child molestors who kidnapped him messed him up.He used it as a metopher. This movie looks KICKASS!
This was and still is fun while it lasted, but the fact remains that this movie has flaws and flaws detract from its lasting value. There's a reason why something like "Blade" went on to make a series of sequels... it had some bigger appeal to the market. Carpenter doesn't make sequels, but dammit all -- if he just appeased the big-wig producers (just once) then maybe we would have gotten more of the awesomeness of Jack Crowe vs. Valeck. Think about it: what if that was an entire series?
Best vampires movie ever made! I am still scared of Yan Valek and will always be! The vampires in this movie are like zombies, like animals and that's quite scary and awesome at the same time. I love this movie alot!

JUST re-found this video. The first time I watched this, was when I was 8 or 9. Now I am 19, almost 20. Thankfully FYE had it.. I am so stoked to watch it. Had a crush on the vampyre- still do!
