@dmyellow i just have to take it away n see how your child does without it and if he/she does great without it it means they really dont need it, they DONT NEED it in the begin with but for them its very soothing to have, it takes time, but eventually it will happen, i say dont rush do it when ur ready =] there isnt a time limit on anything, everyone deals with their child in many different ways thats best for them. sorry for the divided messages youtube wouldnt let me post it all.
@dmyellow so i just didnt bother to look for it, she went to bed at night, she wined just a lil but by the next morning she was great, never mentioned it and havent mentioned it since, i could've easily bought her another but i felt it was best that the pacifier stayed away,continuing..
@dmyellow she'd freak out becuz i knew it was a soothing method for her, but i really realized that it was JUST me feeling that why and the more i continued to give her the pacifier the more she was going to want it and be even more attached to it, it happend when we were on an outing with a friend and i guess auden lost her pacifier while we were out, i couldnt find it anywhere, in my head im like this is it, she's 2yrs old this can not continue, -continuing..
@dmyellow it was hard at first , seeing how she was on the pacifier since she was a month old, she had to have that pacifier everywhere, to go to sleep, during quiet time, a drive in the car, AT ANY MOMENT she was attached to the thing., if she lost one i'd feel like i have to rush to the store and buy one becuz i was afriad continuing,...
