I cant imagine how the lonesome road dlc is actually based of this song. I mean if you "Look down" when Ulysses,Marked Men,Deathclaw And Tunnelers are comin at you Your not gonna Be dead before you can say to "Lonesome Road"
By the way, i haven't seen any " I'm a 12 years old boy who played a video game which have 50' music in it. And realized that old music is actually better than all the crap of today. Now i feel so much better and superior than other people of my ages cause i'm young and know how to listen to some old music." lately ?
I'm here BOTH for enjoying the music AND praising the game. Seriously, this song doesn't even appear in the game, it's just have the same name as the DLC. One day, i was just looking for a vid bout the DLC and stumbled on and fell in love with the song.
That's one thing I don't like about video games using older music, say you're a person who likes the song and listens to it alot. One day you go to the song and all you see is "HERP DERP I'M HERE FROM THE GAME THUMB THIS UP IF YOU ARE TOO" or posts about the game. Just enjoy the song, it doesn't matter where you got it from, just that you like the song, and keep the game talk to game videos.
This is to clear up some confusion mambowe might have over what the comments are about.
There is a game called Fallout: New Vegas that is set in a 60's style post apocalyptic wasteland. There is a new addition to the game coming out that is named after this song.
You have to love how many people (including me) it has introduced to this great generation of music!
@XxMeanDroxX Mate, I actually hope they release more music, such as this actually. Lovely stuff, really. Bloody brilliant music such as this would go perfectly with Fallout: New Vegas' newest upcoming DLC "The Lonesome Road", it syncs in perfectly with the theme of the story. I can't wait for it personally.
@ZivWar I think this version suits New Vegas better. The Gene Austin version is more Fallout 3 - ish. New Vegas music is very upbeat compared to Fallout 3. Just my opinion
@WarriorOfOrigins READ THE AFTER MESSAGE, stop bashing my mistake on the NAME of the addon, i said i was wrong about the name, i was told the addon was the Divide, and the song supposedly added is a version of this
I came here hoping for the James Taylor song.

@TheBoomhahaha2 So if you're just enjoying the song, why stress about the comments? It's not like a few lines of text below a video effect it.

Hmm, seems a bit too upbeat for the tone the trailer set for LR. Great song, still.

This song is being supposedly added to the upcoming fallout new vegas addon, the divide
XxMeandroxX 7 months ago
@XxMeandroxX the upcoming dlc is called the lonesome road after old world blues dlc which came out on the 19th
PacFan137 7 months ago
@PacFan137 its not out yet, old world blues came out recently, and sorry for getting the name wrong, so we were both wrong

@XxMeandroxX I was hoping for the Gene Austin version :( I think it has a better feel for it. This one seems too upbeat.
