i use timecode vinyls and have the same problem. i'm sorry guys but your solutions won't work for me... do anyone have another solution? how did you manage this stephenbrown62?
2)make sure that you plaing the second track on the timecode cd
3)put the absolute mode
(that problem i have too but in sony vaio with windows.after one format works grait....maybe you have to contact with NI service to tell them what hapens and tell you the solution!
I got the same prob as you with a macbook aluminium.... and I got one different in another macbook similar as you, but a black one.... the second trouble is when I stop the track, it keeps going.... I'm becaming mad about it.... I want to play but its impossible.... if you get the answer just say to me.... tks

you have to choose between turntable and cd player mode, its next to the play button. i had the same issue and i found out its because of that

i had this problem to. i found i had to close traktor and reopen it each time this happened and it fixed it. still pretty bad but.
