Man i really like your style.. i will practice your style ! but it seems this piano needs to be tuned, some keys disturbing me. is there any of your record with another piano ?
This is one of those songs that gives me goosebumps whenever i listen to it, just sounds that good to me. Just wish i didnt have to keep going to the computer to hit repeat. I really hope you put this on a cd, i'd buy it even if this were the only track.
That choppy rhythm must be a bear to keep, like ".44 Blues". (If you've done that, I haven't found it yet, but that's probably because I keep getting sidetracked by all the other great stuff you do. Keep it rolling!
That is sick, I play in a famous rock band and I am in love with this song and would love to ROCKINIZE it but I have to say this guy is just plain sick on this tune, very well done.
Simply amazing. Monstrous!! From the South of Italy. Morton would be glad to listne to you, though he was not the most gentle musician of the 1900. I wish you all the best, and thank you once more for playing. I would give everything away only to play once as you have played. STUPENDO.
Woooow... thats some fukcing genial version. Man, I saw your consert version of this song, you've got much better, but hey - this one here is also very huge, beautiful, you're the best
An awesome song! I first heard it on "The Legend of 1900" a movie basically about a piano player but features a piano duel between "1900" and Jelly Roll himself. I'm sure you've seen the movie but if not... man o' man are you in for a treat!
Thanks for that Comment! - I don't think I've heard of that name before - I'll check it out - thanks for the tip - always interested in new inspiration - Matt
Another great piece. I could picture myself in a New Orleans bar/dive sitting back enjoying a nice fat cigar and (soft)drink tapping my foot. Thanks Matt
This is why this is my favorite subscription. awesome as always. I was just attempting a James Booker tune when i thought to myself i gotta watch Matt first.
No . . I don't intend for the piano to be out of tune - it just gets alot of wear & tear between myself and my students - and I can't afford to tune it every month - Thanks for watching! - Matt
sweet!!! your version is great, The piano tunning is perfect for your style. I love it.

just started listening to this type of music like a month ago and I really like this song. Your version is my favorite on Youtube.

Do you tune the piano that way, or is it simply because of non-tuning over time? Either way it enhances this style. Please keep posting new material!
