@RichardElden WW II made the US the world's unchallenged superpower? Interesting. The Cold War and all that resulted from it - Korea, Cuban Missile Crisis, US defeat in Vietnam, etc - would seem to be evidence that the US was not an unchallenged superpower post-WW II. But whatever. I wouldn't expect someone who calls an enlisted WW II veteran, Academy Award winner a, "talentless bisexual commie libtard f*ggot k*ke" to be too good with facts. Turn off Fox, watch "Cool Hand Luke" and god bless.
@RichardElden You are a completely ignorant. Newman served in the Pacific during WWII, which was largely the basis of his comment. People, the nation as a whole, suffered and sacrificed during that war. Since that time, it has been only the soldiers and the soldiers' families who have suffered and sacrificed during the time of conflict.
Also, I'm guessing your only service, Elden, has been watching Fox News coverage of Afghanistan and Iraq.
He was nervous because he was speaking out against "The Establishment"....which
gave him his fame, status, wealth, etc.....but speaking out against the war was a courageous act.....even though risking his career and future in films was on the line..

He looks very nervous here. He probably half expected war supporters to attack him or something like that.
