  • I did it! I did it! After years of knitting and being terrified of a dropped stitch, and not being able to visualize it, I found it and did it! Thank you thank you!

  • how do you pick up a dropped stitch for purl? when you put a purl stitch back on the needle, is it the opposite way of a knit stitch?

  • @shopaholicS2 I'd assume you just turn around your work and do it the same way; a purl is, as you said, just the opposite of a knit stitch.

  • lol ive got so many books, but its so much easier to watch you do it:-) fanx, happy new year x

  • Thank you chuck you are a star xxx

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • Don't understand. I could clearly see the video. Very helpful

  • Whats with all the words, can't see the video! These instruction videos are useless when you can't see what is actually being done!

  • might have been possible to pick up a dropped stitch if I could actually see the video and not just a full screen of transcribed speech!

  • thank you very much for taking the time to show this video...have taken out I don't know how many projects because I didn't know how to fix it...this was exactly my problem every time. I love all of your videos...thanks again

  • this was great! so easy to understand! keep up the great vids!

    thanks so much!

  • Thank you! Thank you!

  • I sure appreciate your clear instructions and very clear visuals. Thank you!

  • does it matter what size crochet hook you use? I guess it should be roughly the same size but if I use on half a size bigger or smaller will it look funny?

  • Excellent... Thank you!

  • can you please tell me which style of knitting is that, if possible can you please upload how to knit that style

  • I just seem to be getting a bigger hole :S

  • O thank you THANK YOU! I thought I was going to start crying when I dropped a stitch earlier. I had no clue what to do! Big Sigh of relief!

  • So useful! I had always just tied off the dropped stitches with some spare yarn, which looked pretty sloppy. This is a much better method -- thanks Allison!
