I did it! I did it! After years of knitting and being terrified of a dropped stitch, and not being able to visualize it, I found it and did it! Thank you thank you!
thank you very much for taking the time to show this video...have taken out I don't know how many projects because I didn't know how to fix it...this was exactly my problem every time. I love all of your videos...thanks again
does it matter what size crochet hook you use? I guess it should be roughly the same size but if I use on half a size bigger or smaller will it look funny?
So useful! I had always just tied off the dropped stitches with some spare yarn, which looked pretty sloppy. This is a much better method -- thanks Allison!

how do you pick up a dropped stitch for purl? when you put a purl stitch back on the needle, is it the opposite way of a knit stitch?
shopaholicS2 1 year ago
@shopaholicS2 I'd assume you just turn around your work and do it the same way; a purl is, as you said, just the opposite of a knit stitch.

Whats with all the words, can't see the video! These instruction videos are useless when you can't see what is actually being done!

might have been possible to pick up a dropped stitch if I could actually see the video and not just a full screen of transcribed speech!
