  • Thanks I just realized I was misreading the fret, 20 not 19. thanks!! its still different but I realize you are just playing the slide run in a different spot which makes sense now.

  • Great song, great playing. I have a question. I am in the middle of learning this and it appears that warren's opening lead riff is a G major because the notes are D-E-F#-A-C-B-G

    so I am assuming the one sharp makes it a G major scale. I am probably wrong, I am just curious because I see you are playing it differently. Are you just playing it in a different positon, for instance that final note is A 10th fret B string...and the mark phillips tab book i have ends on A 14th fret G string

  • @Stadium229 Hi There, The whole song is in A minor (tuned down a half step ) I dont think there is an F# in that opening riff. It is all straight from the a natural minor scale in 17th position. That A note (10th fret B string ) is the same note as the A (14th fret G String ). Hope that helps.
