  • Thanks. You are in great shape. I like how you recovered when your feet went in the wrong direction. I do a similar exercise using inexpensive push-up bars and the TRX foot rings. Maybe not quite as difficult as using 2 TRX's but a lot less expensive. :-)

  • oh wow. when i thought i didn't need anymore reasons to get a TRX, you just have given me another one. this is fckin killin'.

    for those that can't afford to get two TRX's, do this; use a swiss ball for the rolling crunch. I don't know how it will work or if it'll be effective but I'm going to try it out once I get my TRX.

  • @mikesweeney I think he means planche pushups, but I haven't seen them done on the rings. I've typically seen the done from the floor or on the parallel bars

  • This is an awesome exercise tried them out on saturday got a set of 30 in! I will have a video up soon of a Dual TRX Spiderman Pushup! i currently have a great core workout posted! XOF TRX ab circuit is the title!

  • Try the same think but with you swiss balls. Its incredible but quite tricky I can only do 3 or 4 before I lose my balance anyway just something to try for fun :) Good work by the way!

  • Hi, Becca (and Mike!) So that's where you've been hanging out lately (ha! no pun intended). That's an amazing set-up in that you are working at least four groups at the same time (tri's, pecs, abs, inner leg abductors) plus stabilizing the whole situation with your core. If you do another shoot, can you show the harnessing arrangement up top? Attached to building supports? A fight gym/punching bag frame? Looks pretty intense--do many students try it?

  • Thanks. This exercise required a LOT of concentration. The straps are attached to the building supports. Although we run a TRX class, no one is quite ready for this exercise!
