Cool to see progression in music but this stuff was hard to stomach. Did you go there to see Sonic Youth's new album? This festival has been happening for several years and hasn't been in Williamsburg before. I figured there would be someone going there for Sonic Youth and being severely disappointed.

Really, how is Emeralds hard to stomach? Very melodic and often beautiful; hardly as inaccessible as most "harsh noise" artists.
