Well, although the introduction to emily carr's annual foundation show was good, it seems only one dimensional b/c in large majority of works in show were fine arts based and not a lot in design based. In foundation you have more options in exploring of different basic of basics in different areas, but only from 2nd year on you get a chance to start focusing on more. If fine art isn't for you, maybe design is. As much as there are lot of inner political conflicts in the institution, they are
getting a lot of exposures from industires(both in fine arts and designs) and they always seem to have a quality selection of professors who are always supportive of students. And I'm speaking from an experience of this place. It's good to look at your other options of different art schools, as in EC space and funding seems to be always the main cause of problem. Also what you find uninteresting might have to do more with what is generally accepted as an art form in Vancouver too.
The receipt thing I thought was actually pretty cool and one of the only things I found interesting in the entire show. It's a good concept.

im going into emily carr, but i find these stuff so ....uninteresting. oh man, i don't think art is right for me...maybe it isn't,....AHHH
