  • lets do it again!!!

  • SOOOO AWESOME!!!(:LOL!

  • oh this is so cool!!!!

  • I love the loader at the gate and the way he's keeping the horse steady, and if I could judge Joel Rosario only from this video, I'd say he loves horses. I love that when Quoted came down to a trot, Joel was right there giving the horse a good pat on the neck for a good race. Thanks so much for sharing, Del Mar Racetrack!

  • Gooood video ^_^

  • i love how the guy in the starting gate is petting the horse, cute!

  • pause, mute this video and skip to 0:20

open another tab and go to youtube

type in Final fantasy-i will not bow

play both videos at the same time, EPIC!!

(only reason i said final fantasy is cause it has a pause and if you do it right, the gates fly open at the word FALL in the song!)

  • @barboro1 shuddup. No one cares how well they speak english or not. Get over it.

  • and let the horse be himself and let God speak and lead me to the way everlasting. Amen.

  • @greatbigbubby: I came to understand that horses are God's sentient creation quietly bonding man back to God. Some people get it, some people don't. I've found in times before I knew God, whenever I was close to a horse, I sensed I was painfully missing Something even though I didn't fully understand or grasp the concept at that time. Now that I'm saved, He has used horses to heal me and help me grow. The only time I can ever hear Him through them is when I hush myself and listen and let the ho

  • Step 1: Mute

Srep 2: Put Horse Racing music from Zelda oot

    *Greatest feeling ever*

  • One of my favorite YouTube videos! I always feel better every time I watch this. Thank You Lord Jesus for Your horses and the healing impact they have on people. I love You. Amen.

  • @JesuscantergallopTB i just know our King loved to ride arabian horses!!!

  • Such an awesome video!

Thank you for the new ones too Del Mar.

  • I often ride an OTTB, and an arab cross that goes just as fast, its such a wonderful experience galloping that fast on an animal. Ive already wondered what its like from a jockeys POV too. I dont have *much* of an issue with them carrying the whips, especially if they are just used as a reminder, and shown to the horse rather than actually touching the horse. I hate it along the finishing straight when theyre whacking the shit out of the horses - theyre already going as fast as they can....urgh.

  • why is it that in america and australia jockeys tend to "show" their horse the whip before the finish. in europe most jockeys just reach for it straight away. well the moderate jockeys do

  • wow came in second, huh? that's not bad

  • I think this type of view could be useful to the stewards...

  • omg i could so tell the horse started giving its all before he even whipped him why must they all insist on whipes i will never know

  • @barboro1 Look at the top comment =)

  • @Silhouette775 with as many times and has hard as they hit them horses with the whips people want to say they dont hurt? so then whats the point of them......jockeys can make noise with out hitting there horses

  • @barboro1 It may seem like they hit the horses a lot when they actually dont. Normally it is waved in the horses vision and is enough to spur a horse on. However yes, sometimes the whip (or crop) is used more forcefully, but it is for the effect of contact, not to purposefully hurt the horses. There are actually regulations against excessive use of crops when the jockey purposefully uses them in contact with the horse more than is actually neccessary, and jockeys can be suspended for this.

  • @Silhouette775 i understand all of that.......but still dont see the point in using a whip/crop to make the horse faster.........i have barrel raced my hole life and never used a crop nor spurs and have won many times.....why cant they just race horses without the whips........thats my only beef....horses dont need whips to run fast

  • @barboro1 i know it is odd right?

  • @barboro1 i presume u dont no a whole lot about horses.firstly d whip. d whip is designed not 2 hurt d horse.it is an aid and if u ever been hit with 1 in the palm of ur hand u wud no it feels like tough sponge doesnt hurt at all. this may vary country to country.secondly d horses hyde is extremely tough only a fool doesnt know that, but unfortunately u will get jockeys using their whip in the incorrect position from time to time.over 80% of horses will idle without whip difrnce btwn win a losin

  • First off you really need to go back to English class and yea I have been hit in the palm with one and they sting I have been a barrel racer my hole life and have never used a bat or spurs there is no point in them other than to hurt the horse and make them go faster so some people think but a horse will run just had fast without them if you ask@MrWhosurdaddy09

  • @barboro1 i hav deliberately spelled my words like dat in order 2 fit everything in u clown.wtf is barrel racing?another reason why whips shud never be band is this. horses like humans can roll or hang in the finish without realising. its normal for this to happen but this will lead to horse bumping thus leading to a stewards enquiry possibly affecting the race result. some horse can hang violently also especially on heavy ground now dont try and tell me jockeys dont need their whip as an aid!

  • Evidently you need to learn English then and only then will I give a damn what you say thnx

    @MrWhosurdaddy09

  • I had fun. Love the curly mane!

  • The horse that won, was that Queen Z??

  • @Cherryblossum09 it was Quoted

  • @Cherryblossum09 it was Quoted that came in second

  • that's was awsome. the best racing camera film i have come across. :)

  • Awesome video, I saw he was wearing a camera on the livefeed. Nice to see the final result!

Exciting stuff, Joel Rosario is an excellent jockey!

  • pieces of shit....try to make a video when someone is using the riding-whip with you!!! it's funny...isn't it?!

  • @jessy8751 The whips are made to make noise but not sting...Didnt know if you knew that or not..They arent your regular riding crops.

  • I loved it! All I could think of was the fact that there are a lot of people around just making sure you get a good trip and will take care of you between ambulances, outriders, and various track personnel. Also, it's a long way down if your horse gets injured! Can I inch my way underneath the rail until all the horses pass by? Still, with the dangers involved, I would have loved to have become a jockey!

  • Wicked!!

Race certainly over quicker from this perspective.

Gallop Racer left out the wind effect. ;-)

Couldn't hear Trevor. Always wondered if jocks could hear the announcers.

Didn't hear any jockeys yelling anything, like "hit that kangaroo" or something.

  • thats sweet!

  • Pretty darn awesome!!!!!
