  • Great fa jing. Inspiring

  • Good fa jing power in strikes

  • The last guy is no slouch either. If you think about it, if any of those elements he showed were to be timed so as to hit a person, his full body weight would fall into that one point. Instead of his foot catching up to support him after his front foot absorbs the power, the oppoments body would absorb that power, and the back foot would just catch up afterwards. Thats how these blows work. Timing and full body force as well as dynamic economy of motion.

  • where can i get this music ??

  • The reason why this man is good is that he understands true looseness. XYQ is not done in the same way as external styles, there is a long period of "incubation" in the early stages, where the looseness has no power at all, and until you grasp the correct kinesthetics, you may not experience this "loose" but not brute energy which looks nearly effortless. its all about patience and sensitivity in finding and developint this kind of strength that is so elusive about good xingyiquan.

  • True. I have been practicing XYQ for 5 and a half years now and It seemed like I was getting in my own way for the first 3 years! I started to develop a whole body economy, a mental and physical connection, and a harmony of weight/motion/force/inertia that all just fell into place. Some elements evolved faster than others, some animals before others. The internality of XYQ is its true power, and is rooted in the intent.

  • This is nice. Very good usage of power in the fists - observe the shuddering palms.
