Maybe in dragonball he kills people but not that much in dbz, he just owns them.
Every time I hear the piano bit that starts at 0:46 (I have the whole DBZ OST series on my computer) it makes me so emotional, sounds silly I know but this series and in particular gohans journey was a lot more than a cartoon
Gohan lost not because of strength, he was stronger than Buu, it was because of two things:
1) Mental endurance in fighting. Buu had piccolo's mind - who knew gohans weakness and strength. He knew Gohan is weakest when he feels guilt and responsible for letting people down - Final wave vs cell for instance. Buu played mind games with him breaking Gohans confidence.
2) Poor/rusty fighting. It was like 7 years since Gohan last did a fight. He struggled against Debora where he didn't need SSJ.

Miss Gohan, how epic his growth of the whole saga was. Though his epicness is still a bout and remember, pure goodness, of his father Goku was within Gohan. Yet he was afraid at times, because he was so nice, though when he had the courage, he was an unstoppable force that only needed to believe in him self to obtain his power. Later gohan makes an appearance again after training for so long. But it doesnt work out. And so everything reverts back to vegeta and goku, with vegeta returning to help goku and co. out. From then its goku and vegeta's struggle. And in the end their relationship has grown much stronger. The end
After that in the buu saga goku then tried to give goten and trunks the chance, actually gohan was out for quite awhile. The heroes, or characters with th most focus were goku and vegeta. The buu saga showed those two's relationship and how it grew, vegeta's feelings, and that goku always plays a part in the good duys winning. At first vegeta was relatively calm and seemed kinder towards goku and co. . However, vegeta released his true feelings and went majin on goku.

From the saiyan saga to the freizza saga goku was blatantly the main cahracter, the hero, the saviour which everyone was waiting for to arrive at the scene, <<< this is actually relevant to many cases. However, in the cell saga was it that goku was guiding gohan.
the thing im glad about gohan not finishing buu off is the fact gohan was the strongest character in the cell games before he went ssj2 yet after the cell saga he didnt even train yet goku and vegeta worked as hard as they could for 7 years then all of a sudden gohan has to sit still for a day then he becomes the strongest character again so basically what im trying to say goku and vegeta had to earn their power yet gohan just got his with doing hardly anything and becomes the strongest again

dragonball described the life of Goku, ending with his marriage to chi-chi.
dragonball z described the life of Gohan and it ended with the marriage of Gohan (sorta). However, Ultimate Gohan shouldve finished buu yet it was Goku who did.
You can see Gohan is the main character because he never dies, if Ultimate Gohan finished off Buu it would be logic.

Yes but most of those events lead up to Gohan becoming the next hero. And i disagree with the killing buu part, the spirit bomb contained energy from all people of earth and it was Vegetas idea.

Gohan's Anger is the most epic them song through out the entire Dragonballz series in my opinion. Dragonball and Dragonballz were awesome series, but I never watched GT because it was horrible.
I wish Toriyama had've stopped listening to the fans and actually made Gohan the main character, and focused on other characters. Can you imagine Goten and Trunks going into battle with Gohan against the next great evil? Aww sweet...

Miss Gohan, how epic his growth of the whole saga was. Though his epicness is still a bout and remember, pure goodness, of his father Goku was within Gohan. Yet he was afraid at times, because he was so nice, though when he had the courage, he was an unstoppable force that only needed to believe in him self to obtain his power. Gohan you always remain my best.

He then died for everyone, again showing that he wasnt evil but he cared for goku and the rest. After that goku guided goten and trunks, and showed his true power also. Later gohan makes an appearance again after training for so long. But it doesnt work out. And so everything reverts back to vegeta and goku, with vegeta returning to help goku and co. out. From then its goku and vegeta's struggle. And in the end their relationship has grown much stronger. The end

After that in the buu saga goku then tried to give goten and trunks the chance, actually gohan was out for quite awhile. The heroes, or characters with th most focus were goku and vegeta. The buu saga showed those two's relationship and how it grew, vegeta's feelings, and that goku always plays a part in the good duys winning. At first vegeta was relatively calm and seemed kinder towards goku and co. . However, vegeta released his true feelings and went majin on goku.

From the saiyan saga to the freizza saga goku was blatantly the main cahracter, the hero, the saviour which everyone was waiting for to arrive at the scene, <<< this is actually relevant to many cases. However, in the cell saga was it that goku was guiding gohan.

the thing im glad about gohan not finishing buu off is the fact gohan was the strongest character in the cell games before he went ssj2 yet after the cell saga he didnt even train yet goku and vegeta worked as hard as they could for 7 years then all of a sudden gohan has to sit still for a day then he becomes the strongest character again so basically what im trying to say goku and vegeta had to earn their power yet gohan just got his with doing hardly anything and becomes the strongest again

@054martinm has got it better nailed down than u @exterminasation , really everything revolved around goku, however only in dbz was it that someone else was getting a lot of screen time, ofcourse not as much as goku but still alot; gohan. So goku is the mainest of the main, character of all the series. I really wanted vegeta to get as strong as goku, but i guess toriyama liked goku much better.

it was supposed to be like this i think:
dragonball described the life of Goku, ending with his marriage to chi-chi.
dragonball z described the life of Gohan and it ended with the marriage of Gohan (sorta). However, Ultimate Gohan shouldve finished buu yet it was Goku who did.
You can see Gohan is the main character because he never dies, if Ultimate Gohan finished off Buu it would be logic.

Yes but most of those events lead up to Gohan becoming the next hero. And i disagree with the killing buu part, the spirit bomb contained energy from all people of earth and it was Vegetas idea.

@exterminasation yes it would be logical. all events in the buu saga led to gohan finishing buu but at the last momment japan goku fans wanted him back so akira made gohan get absorbed. it was a sudden and spontaneous change that akira struggled with but gohan was the original hero after the cell saga. the whole dbz focused on gohan and goku being there as a guide or a inspiration to him.

Gohan's Anger is the most epic them song through out the entire Dragonballz series in my opinion. Dragonball and Dragonballz were awesome series, but I never watched GT because it was horrible.
