The wingmen don't seem to shoot many enemy aircraft down or land targets. Am I doing something wrong...or are they just rubbish at hitting targets? Thanks.

@bertscrogshaw57, Not only is your wingman rubbish but can be a danger to your health as well. If I had a dollar for every time my wingman has flown into me I would be a rich man right now.

Not bad Crow :) In your turn to take the baddy out you shoulda had had the cookers on to get your airspeed back up to best cornering speed 430ish. A note on the ship avoidance 500 and below is a no launch area for ships they wont even pop one off at you :) or alternatively 38,000+ is safe altitude above. Ooh and with good energy management the split-S can be done in the cat at about 4,000ft. Great video and good advice though :)

@Futeki321, Yea it was not my best turn, I was a bit off on my air speed on that one. As far as the ship missiles info, that info was just something that I personally noted because I have had them not fire on me as I flown by them at 700 feet hents the reason why I said between 500 to 700 feet. I will say that you are right in the fact that if one can manage really good energy control with the F-14 at the lowest they can do a split-S at 4,000 feet, but they better be dam good on the stick. :-)

very nice to upload this :) i know many people give up on over g and dont play it anymore so i always felt like giving tips to new people however they rarely listen..

i wonder how long a video would have to be for a fully detailed missile evasion xD

so many factors come to play.. i like the end because its probaly the best tip and thats not to panic.. you have to be fearless.. it takes a lot of time to memorise different moves wich makes this game so awesome, your always learning new things

@RepaleoN, Yea some people would just rather give up then trying to really learning how to fly or learning all the ways to evade missiles.

As far as all of the factors that come in to play trying to evade, that's no joke there. More so because every aircraft in the game has a different truing rate as well as you have to factor in what you are carrying on and in your aircraft because that does effect things as well.
