The hardcovers carry the same as the paperback, but a little bit more and they last longer because of their binding

well, busorenkin i personally love the gore, at some points they overdo it with the blood but for a graphic novel of this degree i would say that all the gore is very neccesary..i have just read volume 9 and i cant wait for volume 10...

But as for reading volume 10...you can buy the individual comics, thats how i read the series

i suppose but its far more complex in that the idea of a zombie populated earth is more realistic, especially on how humans would act.

Since there are issues, have they ,made volumes which have many issues in them? Like could I buy something called Volume 1, and it would contain many isues?

EXTREMELEY gorey, like a zombie movie gorey, or gorey so that you see some stuff but NOT as bad as say, guts being ripped out or blown out. and heads being chopped off? Does it have that stuff? honest answer

Example, it has one scene where the main character is having dream about his dead wife and for half the scene she slowly devours his neck, Example 2 , that same wife, before she is dead is trying to escape with her husband and her baby, she is shot from behind and her baby is killed as well

Varies from scene to scene, it all really depends on who/ how they die.

Sometimes they show the horrible gore, sometimes the show silohuettes (shadows) and sometimes they just show a different scene and the dialogue of someone saying "no, god no! AAAAAAAARGGHHH!" ya know?

I picked up Dark Avengers 3, Old Man Logan 71, X-force 13, Ghost Rider trail of tears, Kingdom Come, Justice, Batman the long halloween, Marvel 1602, and another graphic novel from Vertigo but I cant remember its name but its super dark

long halloween is one of my favorite Batman novels i recomend u read that one first and make a reveiw of it

I was hoping to put if off until Halloween , but I guess the fans demand it, I have the graphic novels I bought right beside me, the one I forgot the name of is House of Mystery : Room and Boredom, I like to tell you guys (and girls) about graphic novels and comics that are about more than super heroes, give you some variety.

well it really doesnt have much to do with halloween thats just when it starts, the entire story takes place over a whole year

I know, I know some of the points of the story. I've just never read the entire thing, to be honest with you, I love comics but I am not one of those people who spends tons of money just to get issue one of spiderman so I can complete my collection, I just love the art, its kinda what dragged me, the stories grabbed me later

well about 95% percent of my collection is from my brothers who are in their late 20s so after they left the house they gave me a bunch of regular comics from the 80s and 90s i got into them so i stared buying some

I remember the first or one of the first comic I ever got for myself, is StormWatch number 1 , its not worth much , I got it back in the 90's, but back in the 80's everyone started collecting comics and come the 90's comics were being printed so much that collecting became harder and harder, but they recently started a new StormWatch series, so its kinda cool i didnt buy an easily forgettable relic.

Oh, I also have the anniversay issue of Web of Spiderman (#90)
