I really don't know if this film is meant to be touching or not. The same goes for Willard. I mean, in Willard Ben is an evil little rat, and in the movie Ben, Ben himself sends his colony to attack the townspeople.

this is the theme song for willard. willard is a movie about a gut you has a dead end job and no friends or future. he makes friends with the rts in his basment.he finds out the rats will do anything he says. he end up telling the rats to eat his boss.the rat the leads name is socert. the boss ends up killing that rat so the new leader rats name is ben. that explains the name. at the end the rats eat willard.but willard comes back to life and is put in a nut house.he also killes ben at the end

@casper8278 this song is NOT about a friendship between 2 people but about a lonesome boy which is verry ill and has no friends and brother or sister. when he's alone in the house he discovers a rat and that becomes his friend so the rat has now a friend and home just like him and doesn't have to run away annymore. look the movie, when you have seen it you will understand why it's so toutching for me cause i had to learn the song out of my head for highschool 30 yrs ago. this IS THRUE FRIENDSHIP
