The problem is when blind fanatism comes in… that i can't respect. It's probably not your case i hope. But some representants of some religions really ruin for all the others. I don't follow any religion, but probably when i get way older, i'll start to believe in some.

I hope not though, the loving God that also floods innocent children, doesn't fit my logic of peace and love.

But i respect them all if they bring something positive.

@thyago81. All that is needed is a hardened heart to say there is no God. But when a soverign Creator leaves a multitude of evidence for us to see, how can it be denied? Religion involves man's efforts to find and please god, yet their destiny is unreachable. A follower of Jesus has a personal relationship with the God that loves.Love enough to say no to a destructive lifestyle thus molding us into His image. It's the endless debate between a story on a book and science, even showing people how things work, the faith always overcomes that, the fear of the human being is way more powerful then facts, i respect your faith, if that makes you happy go for it, some use a book, some alcohol, drugs, sex, etc… if it makes you happy without harming others it's awesome.

As for your question to me, well, I don't believe a magical, perfect world comes after we die. Moreover, the fact that we turn to dust & ashes means very little when we factor in the existence of the spirit. I believe in the existence of the spirit based upon the words of Jesus and I believe the words of Jesus because He rose from the dead.

The Bible is bullshit and Astrology is bullshit, but people should feel free to believe in whatever they wish, since a "choice" between Catholic, Baptist, and Presbyterian isn't true religious freedom.
