@roxanapreda I agree with you in several ways. I love Paltrow's voice. It is original...soft and sweet. The orchestration is PERFECT around the song. You can really feel the pain of the song, yet it is sung so beautifully. I've loved Paltrow's voice since "DUETS" and I'm so happy she's pursuing a career in music. Her acting is superb, too, so she really can't do wrong in my eyes. I love Adele...nothing against her. However, when it comes down to it, I like listening to the Glee version more.

@mslisa6824 Actually it's NOT autotuned. Gwyneth sang this live with the cast of Glee on the X Factor and she sounded just as good if not better Live. Of course Adele sang it better. SHE MADE IT. Adele made the song to fit her voice perfectly. That's why if ANYONE covers a song it's never ever eveerrr better than the original. So i agree with you on giving ur pinion that Adele is better. But don't accuse someone of being autotuned if u have no proof. It sounds really mean. Thanks :)

Love this and its more raw and true to her voice - she honours adele by using the same melodies but hitting notes in her comfort range and covering it at all - that is major respect to an artist. I love both adele and gwyneth's version as they both are awesome!

Actually I like this - Paltrow's voice is an unexpected gift, it was a surprise to everyone who's followed her work. It is simpler than Adele's, less nitty-gritty, but no less sincere and impressive. It got to me from the start. The orchestration around her is even better than in the original song. For me Paltrow's version stands on its own, next to the original and I will listen to both in the future. Two women, two voices, two sensibilities - you don't need to choose.

I personally like this version, perhaps better than the original. But even you don't, if you are an Adele fan you should be happy that this cover happened; Glee has a large fanbase, and a lot of those people have been introduced to Adele where they might not have known about her before. That means more popularity and more money for Adele, how is positive attention ever going to hurt a singer? This can only help her career.

Let me get this out there... I love Glee, I love Gwyneth, and i always will. However... no matter how great Gwyneth did with this song, no one holds a candle to Adele. Her voice just doesn't compare to Adele; actually, her performance on Glee makes me want to listen to the Adele version... which I guess is a good thing, and is why Adele would allow her song to be featured on Glee. Absolutely great job Gwyenth!! It sounded super lovely on Glee and I'm glad the song is getting out there.
