I watched both videos ... "An Inconvenient Truth"and"An inconvenient truth even more ".... I was somewhat surprised by the facts and figures ... do not know if they are correct or not ... but ... ... I was upset because the two documentaries take a political side too big ... just that we are in doubt ... if you really want to save the planet or their political careers! ...

De acordo com Roberto Smeraldi, coordenador da organização não-governamental Amigos da Terra-Amazônia Brasileira. O plantio de soja não agride áreas da floresta atlântica. Existe atualmente o cultivo em áreas próximas da área amazônica.

O que há é o risco destas áreas ficarem super valorizadas, o que pode vir a fazer crescer uma pressão de desmatamento para setores não tão lucrativos quanto a soja, que não poderão obter estar terras. Ou seja, se trata de uma expeculação.

Using simple logic, earth has had animals and plants for thousands of yrs, and they didn't cause global warming as these videos try to put it! the idea that cattle and farming fields cause global warming is simply stupid. The main point here is that developed countries made a mess, and now they're trying to play the "clean guys" by imposing an international tax on developing countries, simply unfair. "they made the mess they shuld clean it!

@MrGUESS79 Massive deforestation to graze cattle or grow unnecessary grains and beans and transport those and mill them and transport them to factory farms which require heaps of infrastructure for methane emitting ruminants in their billions. Shipping those animals to massive slaughterhouses which have high energy demands and freezing carcasses and shipping them to supermarkets isn't causing global warming? Think again.

A clear example is the strawberry industry, check what they're doing right now, after wasting resources and energy now they're destroying perfectly eatable food just because is too cheap in the market. so who's causing global warming?
