Hey dude I got a question I have this game but it runs very slow and I have the recomended specs for it except the graphic card which doesn't have directx11 do u think it would run smoother if I downloaded directx11?

if your card doesn't support DX11 you can't 'download' it to run it, your set at what the card was built to run. Send me a PM with your PC's specs though I can still work to make it run as smooth as possible on dx9.

my processor is Intel(r) Core(TM) i5-2300 CPU @ 2.80 GHz (with overclock of 3.20ghz)

OS Windows 7 SP1

Graphic card NVidia Geforce 405 512 mb but the overclock made it to 952. (I checked it on the Shogun 2 options that it increased to 952 after I overclocked.)

My video RAM is 2.7 gb

and pixel and vertex shader version are both 4.1

Do you -or anyone- have any tips for picking up the pace of a campaign? Such as building armies faster, and do you play any short campaigns? I'm actually finding them harder mainly because of the pacing.

I normally play long campaigns because I like the long pace of it all :P I believe there's a few mods which speed it all up though, ie: 1 turn recruitment time for all units and reduced building times and research times etc.

@lionheartx10 mint i'll deff check them out, I think thats my main criticism of the game, if I had to cristicise. Its just I always have one or two main camps but I want to play as so many of the factions and dont have time for all so I play short camps but the pacing gets really troublesome on short camps. I'll probs try a mod or stick with long camps.

I'd definately upgrade my castles and get more buildings if I were you. That and build tons of bow samurai while you still can have three every two turns. Then, you can repulse your neighbors and go on the offensive right after. You're on the right track, just build sake dens when you get the chance. Oh and get the trade routes. That pulls in a hefty income alone.

An important tip that you should keep in mind is to improve your farms constantly (well, to a certain level) as they can provide with an increase of food supply (which will be useful in building better castles and other building that uses food supply) and an increase income especially the fact that you are Chosokabe, as one of the clan special traits is have a better income from farms than all of the other clans; So keep this tip in mind. It will go a long way.
