Hi Leesha! Could you please let me know if the Konad pens are sturdy? I got a set of 2-way pens as a gift and the plastic squeeze part is so soft it breaks easily :S Thank you!!

oh yes i got them yesterday and they are great...but it take forever to let the color go back to normal you have to shake ,shake , and shake it. And NO!! I have not seen nail salons use them.....they have dotting tools for that and the "thin/long" brush too, not to mention every tool you would want for your nails (i'm dragging this on I know)....but their great buy them i got mine for 20$ because there was a sale (i only got the basic ones :( )so yeah

there is also a company nail ritz that is almost identical. no free refills, but it comes with a "declogger" which is just a really thin needle-type thing. also, if you like the whole pen/long brush, they sell them at for love 21 (forever 21's accesory store) for a cheap price. they sell them individually for $2-3, so if you only want a couple i would suggest going in that direction.

I had one of those pen-nailart type things a long time ago. I can't remember who it was by or anything, but it was blue and gold. I found that when you were trying to do anything more detailed than those dots or lines, unless you are a professional, then you end up with a mess!

Maybe the design has been improved since then?

Nice tutorial. Btw- what colour/s do you dye your hair? I had black, then red (which only dyed re-growth!) and now i have this regrowth of blondey/brown urgh.

i had a demo done on my nails at the fair with these, a skull and a flower, and i found that the designs were kind of rubbing off easily after it was dry. what i mean is the inside of the designs would rub off and i was left with just the outline of the shape. i wouldn't buy these or recommend them. this is just my experience.

they are supposed to add the top coat to preserve the design.. I have had them for a while and they never rub off

you can get pens like that with the pencil end and the thin brush in argos and there much cheaper i have had them for almost a year and there really great. they come in a set of eight with glitter and rinestones and other stuff that i cant remember lol

you can get these in Hamley's in Glasgow's (scotland) new Hamley's in St.Enouch. but you can only get one type..there arent loads of choice. cant remember exactly which one it was but they were quite plain and matt looking. x

I got some of those last year as a christmas present and i wasn't very impressed with them, i didnt like that you had to squeeze the tube of nail polish super hard just to get a little bit of nail polish out of them. It was difficulat to do a large variety of designs as well, the nail polish also seemed cheap on the nail.

you can use a reaaaaallly thin wire for unclogging. i don't have any of migi stuff but i have another brands and i think it's useful. i hope it helps

on ebay you can get the fancy station ones for around $25 icluding shipping, you get 48 colours and each polish has the thin long brush and mechanical pencil. to be honest I really doubt the migi is better quality and it's hella expensive for what it is

I had the same problem with them separating and the pens getting clogged. They are not worth the money. If you leave your pen alone for a couple weeks they separate so bad that you can't use it again.
