Hello, the combination goes up to 8km/h, but a good deepcyclebattery is very important, i also used a regular deepcyclebattery and the just run up to 6km/h (90Ah 3 hours at top speed, with a optima 75 Ah it goes up to 4 hours top speed)
its not as fast as a real outboard motor, but its really quite and relaxing.
thx for that info, my boat is a 4,2m plastic boat...i got 2 gel batteries with 90Ah
only thing i need is a new motor, the old one is about 20years old :D
i think i will buy a rhino t5 for my kind of fishing boat, its a nice motor
