native americans of mesoamerica had an concept of life afterwards where warriors go. many prisoners of war did not (very rarely) put up an fights after being caught because it was to their understanding that to be given to the dieties was an honor and a right of passage to outer realm. but please do tell me when we culturally wiped-out or tortured masses, you can't there is no evidence, but plenty if i was talking about europe.
