It keep saying "Network error; connection time out". What should I do? Do you connect the iPhone to the computer via usb? and does it have to be at the same wireless network? Is there easier way to delete iPhone ringtone. Help needed plz, thx.
@bobation Slide the SbSetting, tap on More and it will bring up the setting. Then you can find the way to put the SSH in your SbSetting. Hope u can find it.
Right click on the ring tone that you want to get rid of , then click on the DELETE and click OK to confirm. Once again, if you delete the i-phone's default ring tone you can't get them back. END!!!
On the left side look for the VAR folder click to expand the + sign and click on the TASK folder then click on RING TONES. You should see all the i-phone's default ring tones and the ones you'd downloaded .
After installing the i-phone browser software. From your pc ,click Start point to Programs . Open the i-phone Browser and you should see your SHSH on the left side that shows everything from your mobile device from its system wirmwares to your downloads apps. (be careful,it's similar to your computer registry everything including your i-phone's original default ring tones that once you delete them you can not get them back.)
Thanks guy, you're a big help! I have the other simple way to delete any i-phone ring-tones. From your all model i-phones 1G 2G,3G or 3GS and all firmwares (iphone must be jail-broke). Go to Cydia, touch the search icon on the bottom of the right . On the search window, enter afc2add . to install this software into your i-phone and reboot your device. CONTINUE ON NEXT!!!
how did you do it on iphone 3g? I downloaded the "ringtones" app to my iphone 3g and after I converted the song into the ringtone, it stays in the Standard whereas I couldn't delete it. It seems your tutorial is for iphone 4 I guess :(
