I've got one of those Danelectro Fabtone distortion pedals, and yeah - it's broken twice. I've managed to fix it both times though.

It sounds good, but when you power it on, it momentarily mutes the guitar so there's like a quarter second of silence.

Not the greatest pedal in the world, put it that way.

@BPL1980 Yeah it's such a shit pedal. I've got one actually two been through three of them myself. Or four not sure now. You only get like one tone with it and nothing else. I've been playing through since I started playing guitar. But yeah not a good pedal as far as it being dynamic. Funny seeing people play with it though. Any time I see someone play with one I just want to buy it off of them.
