Hey, can I ask a quick question? This doesn't look like the "traditional" Cuban style that I've become used to-so would you call this Linear Salsa? Or is it more of a fusion of styles? Just curious.

I dance mainly linear Salsa but I learnt Cuban Sasla first so there is Cuban influence in there too.

@PieMan001 The main difference in styles are, On1 and On2 Cross body (dancing on the beat of 1 in the music or 2), dancing "on lines" north to south.

Then you have Cuban, dancing in a more circular fashion. Ask your teacher to show you the differences, if they can't you should not give them your money! ;-)

This is what real salsa dancing is. It's when a couple enjoys each other's dancing, when there's chemistry, eye contact, smiles.

This happens alot when I'm at the salsa clubs... the real good salseras don't even give eye contact and are really cocky.

This is why I stick to dancing with beginners/intermediates. Unfortunately though, the flaw here is, I'll never get better.
