You're videos are amazing!!! I have a question regarding validation lists, to expand a bit on this particular one. Is there a way to, using a validation list in a single cell, select multiple values from that list and have each selected value appear in that single cell separated by commas? Thanks in advance!!
okay, I've been looking everywhere for this but i can't seem to find it, and I've found your videos to be the most useful. How can I add multiple drop down lists onto one cell. Like when creating a weekly schedule and having time employee comes in, and time employee clocks off. I'd like to have both of that data on one cell.
In Excel 2010, I am unable to open the name range selection box from the data validation area. You did it in the video by pressing F3 while in the Source: field of the Data Validation box.
Can you tell me how to do this or have an idea why this is not working?
Regarding the ability to refer to named arrays defined other worksheets in the List Data Validation dialog, is this capability available in 2007? When I try to do this, I get an error. Thus, I'm wondering if the capability is available only in the latest versions?
Thank you very much. I'm building my own Warhammer Army Builder (saving myself $40...) and this is perfect for creating squads and then making lists of their replacement gear and linking to the respective points value. Life saver, for sure!
HEY, THANKS FOR THE VIDEO, I TRIED THE DATA VALIDATION WITH THE VLOOKUP FUNCTION TO DO THE PRODUCT PRICE TRICK AND IT WORKED JUST FINE, THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS WHEN I MAKE A LIST OF PRODUCTS IT DOESN'T MATCH THE CORRECT PRICES UNLESS THE PRODUCT ARE LISTED ALPHABITICLY :(((
IS THERE ANY WAY I CAN GET IT WORK WITHOUT SORTING THE PRODUCT ALPHABITICLY OR MAYBE THERE IS SOMETHING I'VE MISSED???
Thanks so much....i am learning a lot from your videos...
