Nice boat for a small ferry. surface piercing bow and cheap on gas. mooring maybe a problem but it was probably built for some docks it knows well.

I think it is a SWATH (Small Whetted Area Twin Hull) which is a catamaran but with the hull separated from the main deck by the twin supports that are thin, have a small whetted area and cut through the waves better. This provides less pitching moment and less drag as well as a smoother ride.
