I used to drive Limo's from the Sheraton Port Douglas to Cairns airport and back for a bit of extra cash, talk about chaffeuring "classy" people! LOL

I was in Port Douglas in February this year. It was definetly the most memorable places I visited during my month in Aus. I did everything in this video. Also this is my favourite Moby song it works really well with this Video 5 stars to Palmoilvideos & to Australia.

Im looking at going to port douglas around july
Would it be worth it or can you recommend somewhere else? Cant be bothered with citys as probably moving to melbourne

If you can push your trip back a couple of weeks you will avoid the height of the tourist season. It's about mid july / August when all the Aussies from the southern states get sick of winter and head up north to escape. I lived there for 2 1/2 years and worked at one of the resorts, that vid is a slightly glamourised version of the town but you will get to do everyhting in it if you want to
