He waged war with Lancelot (although Lancelot did not return the war, merely defending himself rather than striking any blows). While the Knights of the Round Table disintegrated with the war, Mordred usurped the kingdom and brought an end to the golden age of King Arthur.

@Trigger99X ...Well... Compared to a REAL Sonic game this sucks. For one: The characters are... the same, but sonic has to be reintroduced with them all. Secondly: How the hell did king arthur get on mobius? Last, but not least: Sonic is NOT supposed to have a sword. This game is a serious slap in the face for fans of the series.

@Segaforever1 the girl summoned sonic him there they aren't on sonic's world, they only look like the other characters so that they don't have to make too many new ones, the sword is the only that can beat him, Sonic can have anything he wants it's not like when he was made that Sega made a list of what he can't have, a lot of ppl wanted sonic to have a sword, when it comes to Sonic games there are always ppl who Love, like, dislike and hate it and none of these groups are small

jesus christ, if they want to make the game have an arthurian theme to it, why on earth did they gender swap one of the core characters? Merlin is a guy, damnit, even the smallest of kids knows that. and was it neccessary to make the sword have a face? -.- i wouldn't mind an intelligent sword to keep me company, but jumping on its own and giving it a face... was that neccessary? ^^;; it's kinda lame really...
