it sounds like petrucci is running some type of od pedal in front of his amp cuz rectifiers are not this crunchy.. anyone have any ideas as to what hes using? i no he says he has a keeley mod tube screamer in his rig.. will that give you this type of crunch if used in front of the amp? when i put my zakk wyldle in front of my single rec it tightens it up a lot ( kinda sounds like a mark series) but it also thins the tone too much. Petrucci's tone here is like exactly what im looking for
