i cook it in the microwave and then put it in my toaster oven for another 10mins, the toaster oven will crisp the outside. This is good, but I get better results (crispy-wise) with banquet's classic fried chicken.

@DraconianSilenced Its been the premise of the show since day one. He does it because its how most people prepare frozen food, and if a meal can come out good in the microwave, it will come out good in oven. Some episodes have food without microwave instructionsas well.

This is the only HungryMan I can occasionally eat. But it has to be done in the oven so the chicken will crisp, don't do it in the microwave the chicken will always come out soggy and disgusting. Otherwise this is the only HM dinner that's edible, maybe also from memories of eating the classic fried over the years.

Im tellin ya i dont really like to cook even though im a good cook, im a single man and there is no point in me cooking meals on the stovetop. So i turned to microwave meals, i remember growing up i had this and it was so good but now not so much. The chicken is not real or something because when i cook it in an 1100 watt microwave the chicken is kinda mushy, its not crisp and it doesnt taste like fried chicken, i wish boston market made a fried chicken tv dinner, there dinners taste real.

I tried the boneless fried chicken one time a few years ago on a whim, don't remember why but I loved it. I will probably never, ever eat it again because I now realize how repulsive 900 calories in a meal is. Though, this would be great to split between two people as a snack, or 2 kids as a whole meal for each. That would be much healthier than allowing one person to eat that much.

My brownie did NOT fall apart and my chicken was NOT soggy, microwaves vary and some require a few more minuets of time, I set mine to 5 min istead of 4 1/2 and it came out perfect.

Hey Greg..I wait for the Hungrymans to go on sale for 1.99 and use a coupon so I usually get em at a pretty good price. You get sick of them fast though. My favourite Hungryman has always been the Buffalo Chicken Strips meal with Fries but I dont see them anymore here in Canada. They were spicy hot but great tasting. I got two Mexican Hungrymans in the Freezer. They been there for a while. I opened one and dont look to appetizing. Love your show.

hungry mans are 1000x better in the oven.... once i put my first chicken one in the oven i never went back to the microwave...yeah it's like 35-40 minutes, but it's SO good. It doesn't even seem like TV dinner out of the oven. The boneless fried chicken is better though. Way better....

@yourweedsux Yourweedsux is right, my weed does suck. However, he's even more correct about oven>microwave. If you have the time and patience to wait almost an hour to eat, DO IT. It's like a whole different meal, a microwaved Hungry Man doesn't even come close to comparing. I'd be pissed if I paid $4.39 and then had it microwaved it into a soft chewy mess, instead of baked to crispy perfection. Hell, I'd be pissed if I paid $4.39 for any HM, my local walmart sells them for about $2.50 a pop
