@sirroger11 No the original alien breed I played was in the early 90's it was top down and 2D with a complete rip off of the Aliens series alien model.

I meant the most original alien breed was created in 1993, this is like alien breed with better graphics based on the original game, but still the plot of alien breed is older than alien swarm. also alien swarm was originally an UT2004 mod which was then recreated in the Source engine after the two guys who made the mod were hired in Valve.

Proof that remake or sequel to an old game gets messed up by ackward mouse control and 3D. The mouse rotate feature of the game completly destroys it, played it for 10 minutes, sorry, I just can't get used to it. They mixed standard FPS with overhead somewhat stuck movement. FAIL. Graphics otherwise very sweet and nice, but the mouse thing they should left out, keep it rotating by the body instead of separate movement with keys and rotate.. Whats wrong with 2D pixels in 2010, why 3D, 3D?

this isn't alien swarm, this series of games started way before alien swarm was made, yeah it looks a lot like it but it's not the same game.. I would prefer to play alien swarm but alien swarm is a much smaller game because of it's lack of content which is the obvious reason why it's free..

@illshootu1 true, but this is only 2 player co-op which is kinda sad....iono this game has great graphics, but for some reason the gameplay doesn't look as fun as alien swarm....maybe its just, but alien swarm does have custom maps that can be downloaded
