This is the most useful cello learning video for me!!!! I have searched for other cello lessons, but apparently this works for me the best! I used to have a teacher, after a while for some reasons, I decided to practise by myself. I followed each lesson carefully and practise according the lesson. I really improve a lot!! Thank you so much!!!
thanks a lot for exist!!! i'm learning so much every day , watching your videos , repeating and repeating like you said, i also admire your patience and the tone of your voice for teaching it s perfect !
Thank you for this brilliant video... clear, concise, and full of understanding. A great help and a wonderful reinforcement for students and teachers as well Be well and happy

Thank you so much, I really like your thorough (and very patient) style.
I have been playing the Cello for about a year now (without a teacher) and your videos are beyond helpful, they give me insights into techniques that I am sorely missing without a teacher, but in the back of my mind, I find myself wondering if a teacher would be as thoroough and complete as you.
I personally have really enjoyed the time I've spent learning the Cello. IT's a real stress reliever. The videos are a wonderful teaching aide when you're trying to grasp a concept that's hard to put in writing.
I have been working through the regular school books, the Suzuki books, and "170 Foundation studies" is an absolute MUST for any Cello student.
I also bought the Bach Suites, but have not started into them yet.
How expensive was your first Cello? I think the really good ones cost thousands, but for start playing... might be a mid-class instrument good(about 1000$??)?
My first was a student cello which cost about 1100.00, but if you look carefully, you can find entry level cellos with very good sound.
After I decided that I really did enjoy the Cello and wanted to learn more, I upgraded to a mid level that cost around 2400$
The best advice is to get around to several music stores and play as many Cellos as you can, price is not always an indicator of quality or good sound, and the difference between Cellos is really amazing.
i love you man!

The world will GO on without knowing the words after "...and". I don't think it's such a tragedy.

What a horrible cameraman! "Take care and..." The world will never know. It's like the 18 1/2 minutes of the Watergate tapes.

I'm in the same boat...learning on my own without an instructor. So something like this is incredible.

you learn all by yourself?! Great!
Does it work well? I think it must be complicated learning cello by oneself only through watching videos??
What do you play right now? Which music?
