The other 29degrees in Masonry through the Scottish Rite are optional degrees the 33rd. Degree is bestowed to Scottish Rite Masons for there service in the Scottish Rite, and possibly other appendent bodies that the man belongs too. The Third Degree is the Highest Honor a Mason optains. The Scottish Rit is an appendent body of Masonry.

That the Grand Lodge of England was founded in 1717 and Grand Lodge of Massachusetts in 1736 (100 years before Pike's birth). I am a mason, I have read Albert pikes book. The highest degree in a Masonic blue lodge is the 3rd, their are several Masonic bodies that have there own ranking or level.

I can't believe these guys saying that he (the mason) is wrong about the number of degrees in freemasonry, the fact is it depends on which masonic rite his lodge is a part of, the basic masonry only consists of 3 degrees but there are additional degrees through the scottish rite ( degrees 4-33), the york rite (which consists of four separately governed bodies each with their own degree) and in the U.S. there are also the Shriners which hold their own degrees

@connectz I've made some observations concerning Venus. Lucifer is refered to as the evening star, and Jesus Christ refers to himself as the morning star, and both of them are the same thing Venus! The man refers to three degrees of masonry for a very valid reason. There are three blue lodge degrees, the highest of which is the degree of "master mason". The york and Scottish rites are not a part of the craft of the blue lodge. A 33rd degree Scottish Rite mason is considered no higher than a 3rd degree master. Again, you guys are just idiots.

The other 29degrees in Masonry through the Scottish Rite are optional degrees the 33rd. Degree is bestowed to Scottish Rite Masons for there service in the Scottish Rite, and possibly other appendent bodies that the man belongs too. The Third Degree is the Highest Honor a Mason optains. The Scottish Rit is an appendent body of Masonry.

Pike was reveared for his rank, but that doesnt make him authoritarian, and in no way are his books mandatory. Craft masonry consist of 3 degrees. That the Grand Lodge of England was founded in 1717 and Grand Lodge of Massachusetts in 1736 (100 years before Pike's birth). The thing that Pike was credited for was rewritting the Scottish Rite degrees, which had been rewritten before and which have since then been rewritten.

I can't believe these guys saying that he (the mason) is wrong about the number of degrees in freemasonry, the fact is it depends on which masonic rite his lodge is a part of, the basic masonry only consists of 3 degrees but there are additional degrees through the scottish rite ( degrees 4-33), the york rite (which consists of four separately governed bodies each with their own degree) and in the U.S. there are also the Shriners which hold their own degrees

@connectz I've made some observations concerning Venus. Lucifer is refered to as the evening star, and Jesus Christ refers to himself as the morning star, and both of them are the same thing Venus! Better yet, Venus is not a star it is a planet. You would think that both Lucifer and Jesus, having tremendous knowledge and power would know the difference between a star and a planet.

I guess I needed to see part 1. These young guys sound like they have all the answers. Have they joined a lodge? Are they Freemasons? Do they worship God? Check out two vids on the web by Walter J. Veith about the freemasons. "The secret behind secret societies" and "Hidden agendas". Veith goes through a very detailed lecture about them, quoting only from freemason sources. Boaz1144 (and all other high rank freemasons) you can think whatever you want about when Jesus comes back. Lucifer is meant in the most literal and blunt sense, and that is not "Satan", it is "Light bearer". It is a star, and it is a metaphor for ILLUMINATION, ENLIGHTENMENT, and so on so forth.

The man refers to three degrees of masonry for a very valid reason. There are three blue lodge degrees, the highest of which is the degree of "master mason". The york and Scottish rites are not a part of the craft of the blue lodge. A 33rd degree Scottish Rite mason is considered no higher than a 3rd degree master. Again, you guys are just idiots.

There was only one Mason in any of these groups and nothing he added was used. There are only three degree's in the Freemasons. Thats what you heard about blue lodge. Many Masons do not read it, and that IS a fact. The only reason I even started reading it was to see what all the drama was about, otherwise I probably would have not even bothered. Even in the beginning it is stated that you can agree or disagree with it so it is not some sacred law. It is Pike's own explanation. To me Pike was a great writer and philosopher, and yes he did copy a few things so not all in the M&D is his own words. Other than that Pike is just another Bro MM

You dont have to be a member to know something about it, but you do actually have to research. Not just listen to something someone says who has no proof, no evidence, and hasnt actually researched the topic and call it credible. I see so many ideas: "alien reptiles", secret organizations that masons dont know about, and which president/presidential candidate is a member.
